Another Dungeons & Dragons Campaign (6/6 Players)

I don't like putting mechanical penalties on critical failures. I add in some humorous descriptions occasionally (like the time an arrow flew back over an archer's head and hit the wall behind them), but they don't do much more than a regular miss.

 

So is the battle done now?

I'm going to assume I can shoot at the guy from where I am. Otherwise, I'll move forwards in necessary.

I'll aim at the guy and shoot a Guiding Bolt at him.
To hit: 15+4=19
Damage: 6+4+3+1=14 radiant damage.

The next attack roll made against the guy now has advantage.

 

The blast hits him in the side, burning a hole in his armor. The light remains on his body, highlighting vulnerable parts of his armor and weak points on his body.

AFAIK, that’s all I can do. So yeah.
