You see the helicopter's searchlights turn off . . . . then a loud thud below you after a long while. The noise of the helicopter fades.@Paradoxical

Spoiler: Rikane and Kazuki

A huge, boulder sized capsule lands in front of you and skids across the long street before tumbling slowly and stopping.

You hear a muffled thud coming from somewhere outside the sushi restaurant. It doesn't sound too far away.
Pinky jumps up.
"Pinky": "W-What was that?"

 

Can we see what made the thud?

 

I fly back to examine the source of the thud.

 

Kazuki: "What the hell?"

I move a bit closer, behind cover, and take a look. My pistol is drawn.

 

It sounds like it came from one of the main streets nearby. I assume you go there.

You see Kazuki and Rikane, standing very close to a huge, boulder-sized capsule of black metal.

 

Is the heli still following us?

 

I fly down and transition into a smooth landing next to them.

Then I realize that I'm completely unrecognizable compared to when I last saw them.

"Awkward..."

 

I jump up and run over to the shop enterenfe, seeing what’s going on

 

You look up and see no helicopter in sight. Monsters perch in groups on nearby rooftops.

 

I take an investigation check.

14 + 4 = 18

 

You can't see anything from the front of the sushi restaurant. Pinky follows.
"Pinky": "Are you thinking what I'm thinking?"

 

I keep to the skies, a bit above and away from the capsule, looking at it.
I take out my Rod and Ready: If something hostile comes out of the capsule, I Eldritch Blast it.

 

You find lots of engravings and dark graffiti on the metal. Nothing much else.

 

And I prepare the reaction: If something hostile comes out, I shoot it.

 

“Eyes?”

 

Sanik : "If anybody wants to get out and be seen doing strange things at night by people who have just be awaken and that are now looking outside, free to you."

 

"Let's go."
She dashes out of the restaurant, looks around and runs to the left of the restaurant.
