So Rikane and I are heading back to the shop. How many people are on the streets?

 

The helicopter shines its searchlight on both of you. It flies forward at a steady pace.

None. There's a helicopter flying towards somewhere near your building with a searchlight focused on something. Not hard to miss.

 

"Sh*t! We can't return until we lose 'em!"

 

"No kidding. Split up?"

 

"I have a bad feeling about that. Seems like the perfect opportunity to get mobbed by monsters."

 

"Unfortunately so, but they seem to only have one headlight. The element of surprise might help us here."

 

"Maybe. But I still feel uneasy..."

"If we get closer to the Heli, I could try to bring it down by shorting out the systems, but... collateral damage."

 

"We could draw it next to the borders. That'd make some interesting collateral damage."

 

So I have to decide whether to go alleyway or street. They're practically equidistant, so I need to think of what happens if we're attacked.

The streets have less cover, but more space to move, and we don't have the advantage of crowds

The alley has less space to move, but likely cover, and we can funnel them if they melee... But street gangs do exist...

I think I'll go street for this one. Does anything happen on the way?

I laugh a bit manically, changing my trajectory to go towards the borders.

 

I follow you with a dramatic sigh.

 

I smile as I look back on you and the helicopter, making sure it follows.
