Kazuki: "You don't need to know, but any mechanics we may have may find this interesting..."

I grab the orbs and put them in my bag.

Kazuki: "Now, let's go."

I put on my coat and hat, then open the door, letting Rikane out, then locking it.

 

"So, the table first."

 

"Wait up...!"
I say, standing up while putting part of an orange through my mask and into my mouth.

 

@Nem I take off towards my apartment at a brisk walking pace.

 

"Yep, watch the drawers please."

 

I follow you, my Rod suddenly glowing for a few seconds before stopping.
(I gain 1 spell slot back)

 

“Alright, let me grab something first.”
I’ll leave after I grab my sleeping bag.
“So I assume we’re staying the night at the bunker?”

I go up to my apartment.

Describe your apartment.

 

The mid-sized apartment is a bit of a mess. Off to one side is a living area, with a bed, fridge, and small kitchen, but most of the floor space is taken up by machinery and tables covered in tools and spare parts. In the center is a sealed cylindrical chamber easily large enough to fit a person.

 

“...So, what did you want to grab?”

 

I point at the cylinder.

"That."

I walk up to it and begin to open it.

"Grab some more food from the fridge."

I remove my trench coat and hang it on a coat hanger.

 

I enter the apartment, looking at what’s inside.

As I watch, I go over to the fridge and open it.

 

Once I remove my coat, I open the container. The walls slide back. Suspended in the center, amidst a mass of wires and mechanical support, is an elaborate suit of high-tech plate armor. It's colored dark silver, with midnight blue accents. (You'll get a better idea of what it looks like once I upload my new heroforge token.)

"This is what I've been working on for quite some time now. It seemed to me, that, with all this magical stuff going on, I needed a strong defense. And indeed, it seems like things are basically going to shit at the moment."

I take the A.R.M.A. patch from my pocket and attach it to the suit's right arm, just below the shoulder plating.

"It'll take a few minutes to, y'know, put this on."

"Also, you may want to stand back. This thing's still pretty experimental, and I can't entirely guarantee that something won't explode."

 

“Damn. Looks nice.”
I look in the fridge for some food.

 

There's some bread, a half-empty gallon of milk, assorted leftovers, and some fruit and vegetables. You or Nem can decide the exact quantities.

 

I take out some of the bread (a loaf is available).
“I’d offer help, but I don’t exactly know much about putting that stuff on.”
