I just give him a smile "What's life without a little risk?"

 

"Well you won't exactly have a life if you're dead," Mr. Lopez says back.

 

"Yes, but I don't see any downside for you."

 

"The downside for me is that I have to think about your death every time I would have to walk into this room," Mr. Lopez counters. Then he sighs saying, "Alright, go ahead and try one. I'm too tired anyway to be able to counter any other arguments you might hold against me."

 

"Good choice" I go and pick up the ruby necklace and say "First I must examine" I pull out the thing that jewellers use to see if the gem is real and try to understand how much it would be worth

 

Nah, change of plans, forgot about Niko... and the PM was only to stall, if I wasn't replying. xD

Put trench coat and demonic mask on manequin. Superglue them. Put manequin in coffin. Fill balloons (red, purple, black) with helium; put it in the coffin. Pack the coffin with packing pennuts. Call Hanzo and say, "Has it told you what it wanted yet?"

If not: "Niko wants a ritual thingy. To freak out the newcomers. Coffin's in my room. Ask it where it wants the ritual."

If so: "Coffin's in my room. Where should this ritual be?"

(This works just as well as to stall since setting everything up will take a while)

 

On contact with the ruby necklace, you're instantly hit by a wave of nausea but are able to recover a little quickly. You examine the necklace. It's legit but it's just an average ruby necklace. Wot now?

Yeah I didn't respond to you for a bit on purpose to "let people catch up to you." Literally only @Arch was able to catch up lol.

You're able to reach the Starbucks in a whopping 13 minutes and you see a couple people already inside the building including Lex in his usual cloak, an 18 year old girl, two 19 year old dudes, a 16 year old guy, and . . . an angel? Yeah the angel is conversing with Lex who's expression is stoic. What now?

 

I put it on

 

When you put it on, you suddenly get another nausea attack but also feel a surge of power. A red maelstrom of magic is surrounding you and the ruby on the necklace is vibrating. You can probably control the magic tendrils by holding the necklace from what you infer. Wat now?

You see Mr. Hanzo suddenly get a phone call, which he picks up and answers. "Yes . . . ?" he says very sleepily. "No, he has not told me yet . . . Oh." Then he turns to you, "So uh, where do you want your uh "ritual" thingy?"

 

Tehn I try to do that if I know how.

 

Niko: “Um... let’s do the sparring room. Nice wide and open space, and I want to test the abilities of the newcomers while I’m there.”

 

"If you knew my past, you would agree with my choices," I shake my head. Then I sigh. "Have you ever lost everything you owned and been made a criminal to your enemies. Have you ever had your home burned down with your family inside of it, and your whole street gang hunted down and killed? Have you?!"

 

You hold onto the ruby and imagine the magical tendrils doing different things. It works and you have the tendrils fly around the room and making various different shapes. "I've seen that before . . ." Mr. Lopez mutters to himself. You wonder how this would work in combat though. Wat now?

Mr. Hanzo answers back into the phone. "Niko would like to have it in the sparring room."

"Maybe if you weren't in a gang, you wouldn't have lost everything you owned," Arya mutters mostly to herself but everyone still heard.

"He was in a gang to support his family with the shares," Raisa interjects.

"That doesn't mean he has to kill still," Arya says pointedly. Then she turns to you. "So I see you've killed before. Any names of the people you've killed so I can turn you in?"

"I wouldn't be so arrogant if I were you," Amon Bryne warns his sword now coming out. "Please kindly leave this room so we don't have to fight."

"Ha-di!" Arya suddenly yells. You see a hieroglyph appear out of nowhere in front of Amon exploding knocking both Amon and Raisa back making Amon drop his sword. Dancer and Cat rush into the room and Averill Lightfoot bursts into the building through the front entrance with his bow out. He shoots at Arya who sidesteps the arrow and then says "I didn't know you had this many friends Alister." She then snaps her fingers and a battle staff appears in her hands. Everyone has their weapons out and the tension is high. What now?

 

I say to myself "Can I touch these things?" As I make a sphere in front of me and try to touch it

 

"Will you consider surrendering now before we all stick you?" I say raising my own hand to my amulet while keeping my other hand gripped on the knife.

 

"Uh... can't exactly move the coffin by myself."

 

You uh, kinda can and can't. The magic is like air kinda, when you try to touch it, it get's displaced and tries to form what it's supposed to form. It's strange but kind of cool as well. What next?

"Nah, I've never had the intention of surrendering," Arya smiles before saying, "Detrahere Arma!" Suddenly, a shockwave hits all of you disarming everyone of their weapons except Arya's. However, your magical jinxpieces seemed to stay on your necks. Then she says, "Ha-wi!" and a hieroglyph appears on her staff for a brief second before disappearing and reappearing in your face and exploding sending you flying backwards. You see Amon and Cat then go pick up their weapons and charge at Arya who simply says "Hu-Ai" causing another hieroglyph to appear in their midst and make them trip and fall down. They both try to get back up but fall back down again. You then see Dancer cast a fireball at Arya and Averill shoot a couple Demonai arrows at her before charging at her himself with his knives. Arya however counters with the spell, "Sa-per" and the fireball and the arrows all seem to miss their mark damaging the wall behind. Averill charges in with his Demonai knives which Arya barely parries with her battle staff before casting, "Pervosio" and teleporting to the other side of the room. What now?

"Oh yeah of course . . ." Hanzo says very tiredly, "...but I can't leave my post . . . so . . . ."

 

I get up from where I was blasted back from the hieroglyph, and yell, "Everyone attack together! She can't defend against everyone at once!" I then charge in with my knives.

 

You see Raisa grab her battlestaff, Averill charging with his own knives, and Dancer nocking his bow. Amon and Cat have also finally gotten up again and are charging at Arya as well. But before any of you are able to reach her, she summons a norse rune (Isa) and throws it at your group's midst freezing all of you in ice. Dancer is the only one unfrozen due to him being far away from the group with his bow. He aims his bow at Arya but doesn't fire. "Unfreeze them now!" Dancer demands. "Arrows are faster than jinxes."

"So you may think," Arya shrugs before saying, "At least I don't have to deal with your whole party. I only wanted to talk with Alister anyway." She then says, "A'max" and you can feel yourself warming up again. The ice was burned away and you can move again. However, the rest of your party except Dancer is frozen. What now?
