Sanik : "Say the guy who doesn't assume his face."

 

Everyone who has a smartphone: You hear the familiar voice coming from them:
“That was not a recording. It is imperative that you maintain communication with me wherever you are to travel. Excuse my intrusion.”

 

Sanik : "That doesn't answer my question, why would I trust you ? That monster story make no sense !"

 

I turn and give you a stern look.

"It's quite true, though. I've been seeing them for a little while now. I thought I might be going crazy, and well, how do you prove the existence of what only you can see... but, nevertheless, it seems it is true. Perhaps you simply haven't been perceptive enough to notice."

"As for why you should, care, well... isn't it clear? As helmet-man said, the name of the game is survival. Welcome to a world of predators and prey, where you, little man, are very much at the bottom of the food chain. If you want to leave us, that's fine. But good luck surviving alone."

 

"My statement stands."

"What's that got to do with anything?"

 

Sanik : "Me at the bottom of the food chain ? It's quite obvious that you don't know the group Billy and me are part of. Wait ... WHERE DID BILLY GO AGAIN ?! I'M SICK OF THIS KID !"

 

"Stop yelling. You're really starting to make me sick."

 

I chuckle.

 

Sanik : "Do telling me that you don't like my voice got to do with anything ? Aren't you sick of asking questions, most of the time useless bu the way, everytime someone speaks to you ?"

Sanik : "Then go outside, if you didn't understand, it's a dangerous mission, they don't need someone who puke on the ground."

 

From the smartphones, once again:
“The Blood-Hawks, is it? Do you not recall when multiple members of that group suddenly vanished?”
“Who do you think is responsible for that?”

 

"Because you are actively doing the thing that is not helping. It doesn't matter whether my face is normal or a slate, it's not directly harming people."

Hum, do I assume that the members of the group vanished, that Sanik know it, but not me ? x)

 

I sigh. "Probably."

 

Sanik probably knows. He’s in the group.

 

"Ah, fuck it. I'll steal some of his gold to get myself ear plugs or something."

 

Sanik : "How can I know where they disappeared ? The guards probably put them in prison because they weren't good enough ! I can't approach a prison like that, I can't know who is inside or not."
