[d&d] The Fall Of A City [8/8]

It’s a console with a keyboard. A man with a full-face racecar helmet appears once you approach.

 

I step back, surprised.

???: "Wh-who are you?"

 

I take a seat.

 

“It is imperative you take a seat and remain calm.”
“I have a debriefing for you.”

 

???: "Very well. The humans in this room may not cooperate, but I am ready for the debriefing."

He says "humans" with a hint of disdain in his voice.

 

"What'zat supposed to mean?"

 

I look over my shoulder.

???: "Nothing."

I turn back to the computer.

???: "Go on."

I take a seat.

 

I sit calmly, my gun leaning against my chair.

Also, joke's on you. You said you were ready, but didn't do what he asked.

 

"What's your name, pal?"

 

???: "M-my name? It's Kazuki, but... I don't see what use you have of it..."

(He speaks with a somewhat anxious tone in his voice)

 

"Kazuki, Kazuki... I'll have to remember to tell Cassy of you."

 

Kazuki: "Er... Who?"

 

"Ah, no one~."
I say it tauntingly.

 

I'm still laughing because, despite claiming to be the cooperative one, Kazuki was instructed to have a seat and still hasn't.

 

Kazuki (sarcasm): "I can tell we'll get along just fine..."

I take a seat.

I return the sarcasm.

 

Just didn't see it. He didn't do so the first time, though.

You could have probably done something about that by not having the first line you spoke being racist and generally asshole-ish.

 

Fair (Though I did steal Spyro's idea of basing the character's personality off my own and A. I'm bad at holding my tongue and B. I'm not the biggest fan of humanity...)

Well, Billy and me probably heard the door open upstair, so I take the stair to go up.

 

Looks like the only way to go. Besides, those two went down here, and they're the only lead on these sightings.
I'll go down the ladder and have a look around from there.
