[d&d] The Fall Of A City [8/8]

And, y'know, just how I look in general.

 

Do I know how I got the paper? Either way, I’ll start heading there. At least, do I even know how to get there?

 

There's a sushi restaurant across the street from your current location.

 

That... would make sense. Huh. Let’s see what’s happening inside. I’ll walk into the sushi restaurant and see if there’s anyone that looks... interesting.

 

The place would be pitch-black if it weren't for the street lights outside and the freezer lights. The freezer is left wide open.

 

Really? Your name is Sanik?

 

Riding around on the shoulder of a pretty large metal golem, a rock gnome is reading the strange letter that she had recieved. After walking for a while, she arrives in the streets near a sushi shop.

Toki:"Smell of fish."
She makes her golem walk over to the shop and stands next to the door while she takes a look around.

This rock gnome is, as most people know, small. Probably the reason why she travels around on top of the golem.

The gnome doesn't look that mysterious. She has brown hair shaped in buns, and a genuine face. She wears a mechanical suit and wields a hammer and a crossbow is stored on her back.
As for the golem, it is a large construct wielding a club.

 

I figured not poor, but on the more rough side of things

Daniel: "Ah, okay. Yes, I see, you think I'm schizophrenic or something... which is fine, I've believed that myself, sometimes. Ah, let's see, how do I prove this... I can't just show you something you can't see, and photos can be tampered with... hmm. A more... physical demonstration may be necessary."

 

Hearing this, I start to listen in more (this, of course, assumes I did hear it).

 

I raise an eyebrow, still not convinced

 

Daniel: "Well, hm. Suspend your disbelief for a moment, if you will. What if, all of the sudden, a sandstorm were to appear inside this sushi shop?"

I direct your attention towards the window.

 

@Nem are sandstorms a common thing here?

 

I'm still standing near the shop.
She's just looking around.

there's a robot standing on the street corner dressed up in the guard's unifrom. He's exactly 6 feet tall rather bulky and doesn't seem to be in the best mood. there's a noticeable divet in his right arm he has rather large looking gloves on and a backpack filled with stuff he begins aproaching the group.

Actually just gonna say he wanderns into the sushi resturant and orders some rolls.

 

Any type of extreme weather almost never used to happen before. Thunderstorms have been happening recently, but they produce little to no rain. It's unnatural but your character doesn't know any better.

 

“Sandstorm?”
