One of them still holds a paper. The short one, which you realize is a gnome doesn't seem too inviting of the human.

 

Can I tell if it's the same size of a paper as mine?

 

It's slightly larger, but still a small piece of white paper.

 

I decide to stall time a bit by taking a look inside the shop.

 

Can I do any check on the paper to try to find more informations about it ?
Like if it has been write recently, if I recognize a specific type of writing for a specific race

 

Once you walk inside, you notice that there is no one inside. You're alone. A lone neon light shines above the bar reading: "SUSHI".

 

"Hey!"

One that obviously leads into the freezer.

You notice that this was written in a hurry, perhaps last night. Other than that, there are no signs of who or when it was written.

 

I cast Thaumaturgy to throw open the door (only successful if the door is unlocked).

 

The door remains shut.

 

Sanik : "The one who wrote that had not much time, it's quite a messy writing we got here."

Sanik : "Did you just read the paper or you tried to find something about it ? Now that you're here and that you got the same paper, I need to find you a use."

 

"Are you presuming to command me? And other than possibly analyzing the handwriting of someone I've never met, I don't exactly see what we have to go off of, here."

 

Sanik : "I thought that maybe you would have seen someone strange around. And I don't try to command you, I try to see if you can be useful to me."

Sanik looks around to see if anybody looks suspicious.

Looks like someone just walked into the nearby sushi restaurant.

 

I cast On/Off, targeting the glowing sign as I carefully walk towards the door.

 

The sign turns off. The room becomes dark with the only light entering from the windows.
