Generic Fantasy - [5/7]

Ok you can tell it's a weekend because of how late I am
Because I'm 100% late in comparison to my usually ironclad forever constant update schedule that never fails for any reason whatsoever

There are exactly 27 people in the building, no more, no less, every last one either engaged in a book or asleep (clerk). Yeah, you're safe, and it's hard to imagine any scenario in which someone will know about this.
Alter Self isn't that hard to find, so that's in the bag, too.

You recast twice before, in the one second gap of said recast, you're hit in the leg by a knife. The bomb spell you cast is about 3 feet behind you, and you'll probably be hurt in the crossfire.
The guards are approaching, but it'll take a while.

 

From the book's taht I've seen I'll put spiritual agony and anti magic shell in my bag and the most expensive book that I can find without anyone noticing

Edit: I noticed that my violin has become a +1 focus what does that mean?

 

"Ooh! Thanks for free knife assholes!"
I take out the knife put bomb spel on it throw it at the guards and detonate it when it gets close enough to them. Then I proceed to continue running away.

 

I walk off in a random direction. (If there's loud sounds or alot of magic (that isn't the castle) I walk in that direction.
"Uh- Han, can you make sure I don't walk through walls?"

 

"Alright, thank you sir," Kae bows her head before leaving the store. She then tries to find the east entrance / eastern area of the city.

 

It's a focus and also a +1 weapon whenever you use musician's skills.

You make off with the above and a shiny new Floating Blade spell [200 GC] before the clerk stirs and notices your sound behind the shelves.
"...Hey! Anyone there?"

y'know I could have just given you the stand at the start for the el oh els and never explained it
There go the guards, flung back into the crater and gone.
Also the crowds.
Yeah, everyone's either dead or in panic, far away from here.

You walk in the direction of multiple blue spells on a disturbingly large target. You reach what Han tells you are some stairs, which are a bit creepy in that you phase through only the vertical parts.
Opening the door, you're greeted with a weary voice in what sounds like the back of the building.
"Hello there, whoever's at the do-uuhh... who are you?"

You trace your way southeast down the wall, the buildings getting worse and worse until they start getting better again closer to the riverfront. By the time you've made it to the eastern gate, confusingly far in the south of the city, it's very late for an afternoon and you're almost fully healed.

I continue using invis spell and as soon as I get to a safe place I beging to try to learn again the 10 Unholy spells.

The clerk proceeds to go back to a nice nap.

There are a few a people entering and leaving, but you can't find any refugees.
Gatekeeper: "If you're looking for the crowds you're out of luck. All of em came through a day ago."

As soon as he's back asleep I go out of the shop and try to find a place where a death squad won't look for me.

I decide to back out of the door, planning to continue out of the city

 

I try to figure out how to "evolve" my Delyed Bomb Spell.
