I'll drop to where my token is now and take a two-handed swing my sun blade at thief 4.
To hit: 9+10 = 19
Damage: 8+6+4 = 18

I'll then use a bonus action to kick at the thief boss (unarmed strike)
To hit: 8+8 = 16
Damage: 2+4 = 6

Side note: Because I did an unarmed attack with a melee monk weapon in hand (sun blade), I get +2 to my AC until the start of my next turn, bringing it up to 21.

Yes, disadvantage on attack rolls as well as disadvantage on Wisdom (perception) checks that rely on sight.

I lower myself to the ground, using 25 feet of speed, then try and grapple the Thief Boss.

He can use his Dex (Acrobatics), but I don't believe that's higher than +7, so I'll just continue.

I rise up 12 feet into the air, then give him a good head whack.
