A Modern Day Fantasy Rp [6/10]

Everyone practically responds to Noctua's question at the same time.

Tim says, "You know me, I look into things I really shouldn't be."

Cuffs goes to grab Tigger's shield and says, "You can discuss and kill Aquila later. Not now where you can kill everyone else here and destroy the remaining bits of this statue."

Zander says, "Isn't it my job to interrupt this kind of things?"

All of that in unison.

Tim then goes to retrieve Niko's sword. He's able to pass through Cuff's barrier due to it being able to let specific living beings through that Cuffs chooses. Noctua doesn't see to care much about the fact that Tim is taking the sword. Then, Arya teleports a couple yards near Noctua and you hear her say, "Noctua, I can vouch that Aquila wasn't just standing there watching Marcus die. So please let this matter sink in the past and try not to destroy what's left of Lady Liberty."

"Yeah I'm aware . . ." you hear Noctua sigh. He then desummons his scythe and says, "I lost it when I saw Lex today. And seeing Ken using his swords as a sword master . . . both of them reminded me of Marcus."

"Actually, you technically would've seen them yesterday," a sarcastic voice from Ken yells from the middle pirate ship Jamie created. "I thought you were the smart one Owl!"

"Can you shut up for once!" Arya yells back agitatedly. "You weren't there at the time so shut it!"

"Alright O'Wise Ancient One. May the force be with you," Ken yells back.

Arya just rolls her eyes which Ken can't see anyway due to his distance and Noctua then walks up to Cuff's dope barrier, puts his hand on it, and dispells it . . . the whole barrier vanishing. Then, he walks up to Aquila who's expression is stony and sitting on the ground. You see Kayla who is next to her reflexively summon a bow and arrow but Noctua just mutters, "You won't need that." After he gets to two feet away from Aquila who's still staring at the floor, they're surrounded by a white light and disappear after a couple seconds.

"I completely forgot about Marcus' brother . . ." Arya mutters.

"He leads the clan Fate," Kayla says.

"He does?" Arya says.

"Yeah," James responds before Kayla can. "I think he wants some sort of vengeance on his brother's death. So he made Fate to go against the M.S.A.A. who he might blame for leading Marcus to his death."

"How do you kids all know this stuff?" you suddenly hear Chaz murmur. Then realizing he got everyone's attention, he says, "Well I'm just wondering how the hell you all know this information. I didn't even know about Lex being the leader of Fate and Marcus being the brother of Lex, aye."

"We uh . . . do a lot of things I guess?" James responds. Then he says, "I think we should all go to sleep. It's technically midnight or whatever now because of Quantum . . . I just have enough energy to do a group teleport back to Order SIRIUS."

Wat now?

Idk what would happen. Maybe the holder of the shield will get tired standing there and the sword wins? Yeah idk.

You see what everyone else sees above and you also get dis. I'd recommend reading what everyone else got first and then reading what you get.

Noctua responds to your question in your head, "Ah, you have a secret to keep and it would be weird seeing a flying sword. Good luck."

When Tim (Tsu) goes to retrieve you, he says to you, "Gonna keep this for you till you 'get back.'"

Your nearest hiding spot seems to be literally behind a parked truck.

Oh, and people are yelling, "Smoke Bomb! Smoke Bomb!"

You also hear the policemen say, "Go split up and search for him!"

Another grin again. (Oh, and maybe hold the sword at my side to look cool... ish. Gotta impress Kayla or something. xD)
"So, Lex leads Fate, he's Marcus's brother who died. You three (point at Aquila, Noctua and Arya) have something to do with it so he blames the MSAA and not the angels, and now he's up for revenge. Marcus' brother uses twin swords, you're (point at Noctua) are an owl and you (point at Arya) are ancie- uh... nevermind."
"Did I miss anything?" (Say this quickly after the earlier one)

Edit: didn't realize they left. xD New response:

After Azura responds to you, I will say, “So are we all just gonna ignore the fact that someone just died?” I gesture over at Niko’s supposedly dead body.

 

After Azura responds to me: "Nah, he has a special thing. Practically immortal, as far as I know. He'll be back."

OOC: Fate is a thing no one can escape from. It is predetermined upon your birth and cannot be changed... btw, where in the conversation are you saying this?

 

I wait for everyone to finish and then say it so at the end I guess

 

After the response to me and then after I respond to Cuffs: I look over to Kayla, as if for permission. (Im looking for a head nod or something)
If Kayla is out of it: I look to Arya.
If Arya doesn't respond: Assume they agree. (Cause this guy almost died, so he should be allowed to know stuff. xD)
If they agree: Lex is a dude from Fate who had to interrupt Kayla's cake eating. Basically, he's screwed. Oh, fate's like this... clan? Group? Eh, they're going against the MSAA from what I know. To be honest, you should be hearing from security- people who played (interacted) with Fate before. Oh, and Fate, or F-8, may have been the one throwing rocks in the base... (Fricken kids, we told them to play ball outside!)
If they don't agree: I shrug. "Ask them." I gesture towards the group of teens.

 

I get a mop and a bucket to clean it up.

 

“All of this over a katana? I wish I just said it was fake...” I say to myself “now how to get out of this....” I start running into the nearest alley (if there is any) I find

 

I hate reading this whole conversation on mobile knowing that I can't respond ffs :(

"Well Ken called Noctua an Owl because Noctua means Owl in Latin," James says. "And Aquila means Eagle in Latin. They both used to be constellations as well but no one recognizes Noctua as a constellation anymore. Also . . . me, Jamie, and Kayla were all there as well alongside Arya. Marcus sort of . . . saved us all by sacrificing himself . . ."

Then the rest of the conversation follows.

Arya allows Tsu to respond.

You all then see the pirate ships fade away and see Arya suddenly vanish. A couple seconds pass before she reappears with Jamie, Ken, and Zach.

"Alright emm - eights!" Ken projects. "What did I miss?!"

That proves to be a lot harder said than done due to there being blood on some carpet but you're still somewhat able to deal with the blood. Just a ton of soggy stains on the carpet though. What now? Deal with the several broken walls and doors?

You funnily don't find any alleyways on this street and one of the cops find you. "He's over here!" he yells putting his gun up directing it at you. "Get on your knees and put your hands up!" You can hear the footsteps of several other policemen running over. What now?

 

"Wait... my mind just went on autopilot for a sec. You saying you were all there when Macrus died?"

 

“No, just me, Kayla, James, and Jamie,” Ayra responds. “Zach and Ken weren’t part of the gang back then.”

 

"..."
I glance at Cuffs and Tigger.
"I have a few things I want clarified when we get back. But for now, we should really get away from the point of impact befoee the authoriries show up."

 

OOC: So i deleted my old response when I saw u post before me.

“Well I doubt they’ll be showing up anytime soon,” I shrug. “We’re on an isolated island after all. So what do you want ‘clarified’?” I say all of that while going to pick up Cander.

 

"Eh, you'll be suprised. Helicopters and boats and the like. Also, phones and cameras (If I noticed Zander using his phone I stare at him). Also, it's really dark. And I was going somewhere nice with someone today so I didn't dress for the cold (night is cold, right?) either."

 

“I doubt a boat could go that fast to the island,” I respond. “But yeah, phones are a thing now . . .”

 

Niko (to Harris): BTW, could you have someone prepare a coffin for my “corpse”? Just put a mannequin in it, and I’ll provide the rest of the show. It’ll be interesting to see how the newer ones react.
