Listen you people don't cry over a blumin movie its not the end of the WORLD or in this case the universe in avengers infinity war.

its a movie why are people getting banned for talking about a movie its not their fault if you cant go see it soo yall need to get over your self unban everyone who was talking about a movie they like me i got banned for saying 1 thing in the movie but i didn't even know about this rule cuz id taken a long break and now i'm temp banned for a day.... this is stupid i came on here to play minecraft and have fun not get banned over some movie that has nothing to do with minecraft or this server.

Ummm. You ruined the movie for someone, ultimately ruining their fun and enjoyment.
Also, spoiling is a dickish thing to do. You shouldn't find fun in causing others unhappiness.
EDIT: Also, it's a temp ban, quit crying. At least you're not banned permanently!

tbh you should have only been muted not banned . Its a dick move spoiling the movie but banning you is going too far.
For me it seems that the staff in wynncraft often ban people for stuff they should only be muted for .

 

And Wynncraft is only a Minecraft server, yet you seem to be pretty upset about not being able to play for a single day.

iirc the justification was that if you mute people looking to cause trouble by spoiling things, they switch to private messages to random people. It does seem a bit much but the moderation team is in a bit of a lose-lose situation here. They got a ton of complaints about people spoiling The Force Awakens when it was first released and implemented a rule to stop it and now have equally justified complaints about the rule.

 

Didn't know you can still send people private msgs when muted , Unless there is a way to change that somehow I can now understand why he has been banned.

1. Taking your mind off it won’t make it go away.
2. Don’t take what you said out of context. Mods here are pretty fair, so if they think you spoiled the movie, you must’ve said something that was important to the plot.
3. Wynncraft has this rule so people’s experiences aren’t ruined.

 

wynncraft the game doesn't care. The problem is, you're disrespecting other players that just want to play wynncraft and not have their movie going experience ruined by yourself and others that don't care. This is similar to trolling, griefing, and/or starting a flame war, as it shows you don't care for the other players that are on the server. You don't need to interact with these players, but if you're going to ruin it for everyone else, then you're gonna get banned. It's that simple.

 

well, it is a movie which has been looked forward to by a lot more people that I thought, and we seem to have expected something big would happen. You "only" said who died, but you destroyed the best part of a cultivized movie to whoever heard you. That's beyond mean.

sure it looks hard but it will avoid spoilers (unless some dickish irl friend decides to do so)
but in general, you can just turn off the internet for a while
after all, trying to avoid spoilers in the internet is like trying to avoid a nuke by running into it
