I have a chestnut 9/30 but I can train it myself. I don't really know how much to ask for a 30/30 chestnut so...

This guy is trying to scam you. A 30/30 chestnut horse is worth 20 le MAX. @CGS stop trying to scam this dude you jerk.

I wonder how much le would the buyer expect to pay. Maybe less than 10le?

Not really. I do this on my free time. I buy 1/30 chestnuts for like 13 Le and then I train them and sell them 30/30 for 20 le. What you’re doing is scamming since you have the item. The only time the quote you said goes in play is if the buyer offers that. If the buyer offered to buy the horse for 28 le then sure it’ll be fine. But since YOU have the horse and YOU are trying to sell the horse for 28 le (8 le over market price), it is considered scamming due to the overpricing of an item

I know him in game. Just because he doesn’t have a rank or anything doesn’t mean he doesn’t have Le. I sold a bunch of items to him for a lot of money. This guy can easily pay the 20 le for a Max chestnut. Don’t make assumptions por favor

Welp, making assumptions ain’t bae. You might be his friend, but I can make my own humor as well. I never said he doesn’t have le, and I think you’re making the assumptions yourself lol. You’re being a little rude, because you overvalued ‘friend’ and think I’m laughing at your friend. But from your previous messages, you do seem to be pretty harsh with your words. That’s not going to help you a lot. Be considerably nice, and try to be sacarstic when you need to shout at people, that way, more people would like to communicate with you.
Regardless of that, I have literally zero contact with CGS, but your friend should be asking people on the market for an estimated price of items next time before a buying thread is established. You can save him once, but not every time.

Just my little opinion, feel free to attack back, I am always glad to start a fight :)
