"And also kill off planets?" Shadow Stephanie confirms.


"We actually use magic to heal people. We're quite experienced with healing magic being forest guardians." Artemis says.

Bea nods.

 

"You're such an optimist sometimes, you know?"

"Yes."


"I like making nice people look nice, and bad people look bad. It's easier that way."

 

"Well, don't go mad with that power." Shadow Stephanie warns.


"I'm not sure removing Abigail's clothes made her look necessarily bad." Artemis comments.

"Well, you're a lovely person. I'm glad Bea took good care of you, and you've regained your head." Lielia says happily.

 

"Why would we go mad? There's literally a whole set of free classes on it."


"I couldn't stand to look at them as-is any longer. Calling her a succubi would be an insult to succubi." Amethyst grumbles, albeit smiling in response to Lielia.

 

"A desire for rule over the universe based on your power to give or take life." Shadow Stephanie says.


"I didn't realise you had such spite." Artemis says, surprised, albeit a bit disappointed.

 

"It's a quirk. I can't help myself."

 

"Anyone can give or take life. Only fools obsess over it, refer to hive master."


"She hated me before she met me. Her heart is void of love."

"Well, good thing I can. Come on, if we're gonna go, we shouldn't wake everyone up."

 

"True, true." Shadow Stephanie nods.


"She was the one who suggested we should go and free you, and was willing to go on her own because we were busy." Artemis says.

 

"And, I mean no offense to this... are you not a perfect example of that? You called yourself genocidal, yet you're a queen."


"I can smell her ego, it reeks. She wants credit for something, she feels worthless compared to you." Amethyst says, weaving another garment.
"...Not that she'd accept it, but consider this an apology. That emptiness is something I tried not to live through. It's not something you can remain rigid through."
It seems to show parts of Abigail's past, albeit only starting with meeting Ihra.

 

"You're right. I'm sorry, I just don't want to see our history repeat itself here." Shadow Stephanie says.


Artemis glances at Abigail on her shoulder, looking a little sympathetic before taking the garment.

"It's honorable of you to forgive her. She's a good person, she just has trouble showing it." Artemis says.

 

“Don’t worry... there are giant death lasers for those situations.” Lenka smiles.


“I humiliated her. I haven’t seen, heard, smelled for too long. I was being overloaded, and in the rush I snapped. However, I can’t be the one to change her. I only worry about how many trips to hell it will take for her to recover.”

 

Shadow Stephanie laughs, amused.


"I think humiliation or torture isn't what she needs to recover." Artemis says, turning to leave.

"Thank you for allowing us into your palace, King Solus, Queen Lielia." Artemis says formally, kneeling slightly in absence of a bow. Artemis carries Abigail's naked body out of the palace, Abigail lying unconscious over her shoulder.

 

"Maybe just tell the centaurs that we're leaving and that they need to be careful around the dragons."

 

“So... I guess you’re bored of the tour? Civilian tech really isn’t much. Wait...”
Lenka smirks.
“I have a hunch you’ll like the rec room. Hell, if you like it enough that Stephanie’ll apologize to sis, I’ll send you home with my favorite program.”


“What one needs most is what another needs least.”
Amethyst weaves Abigail’s new dress onto her as Artemis carries her out.

“Oh, right... them. We’re the... only ones keeping them alive, technically. Uh... well, you are. Crap.”

 

"We could just take them with us to the island. Probably the best."

 

"Sure, let's go." Shadow Stephanie shrugs.


A small wooden star-shaped necklace grows in front of Amethyst, intertwining vines forming it's string. The stars edges are smooth, but it's points sharp. Artemis leaves the palace, eventually going out of sight.

 

“Okay, but then what about the wyvern and that weird other dragon you brought with you? The dragoness and her mate are still super territorial.”

Lenka heads out of the observatory and opens what seems to be a portal to another part of the ship.
“In that case, we’ll start with the good stuff. Immersion room first.”


Amethyst curiously picks up the necklace.

 

"The wyvern can fly back to the island himself, so we just have to wake him up. The other dragon can fly too and would probably enjoy his life better on the island."

 

Shadow Stephanie follows, and steps through the portal.


The small pedestal it was presented on sinks back into the ground. Upon closer inspection, the necklace appears to have a careful carving of a gem in the middle of the star, looking like an amethyst.

 

“He digs a lot, you sure he can fly?”

She finds herself in a hall with five doors on one end and an opening to a larger room on the other.
“At the far end of the hall. Oh, and you’ll need to separate yourself from Stephanie, I’m afraid.”


Amethyst tries putting it on her neck, gets it caught on a horn, then just decides to wear it on her horns.
