Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"Uh, who?" Shadow Stephanie asks, toying with Stephanie's sword.


"I'll inform the king immediately then, hopefully he'll take action." Tenebrae says.


They feel familiar, one stepping lightly while the other heavily. The lighter stepping one draws close to Amethyst.

 

"My sister. She's sort of crazy for this whole mech-fighting league. Plus, half of her morph augments are weapons."


"Thank you." Idhaenna says with a hint of happiness, before letting the link weaken.



Amethyst crawls forward and tries to touch the lighter-stepping one.

 

"Man.. that must have been some storm if it took down both nations."

 

"No I meant my partner. Was Aj dicking about here or something?" Shadow Stephanie asks.


Tenebrae cuts the connection.


The lighter stepping one steps back a bit, before reaching out and touching Amethyst.


Artemis touches Amethyst with the curse-breaking crystal, hoping something will happen.

"Aj told me this is what he did with Emerald." Artemis explains.

"What's meant to happen next?" Bea asks, uncertain, glancing at Abigail.

Abigail shrugs, as confused as Bea.

 

"Stephanie didn't respect her request to sheathe her sword. She's also now really pissed because she broke the lenses she was working with because Stephanie pointed that blade at her."


Amethyst jumps before swiping the crystal from Artemis and ripping it apart with her claws.

Once she does, vision of her is obscured as a voice from within the sphere Amethyst was lets out a scream.
After a second, the obscured sphere dissipates and Amethyst has a head that matches the rest of her body. She's unconscious, but breathing.

"They were already ruined. You know that."
Mark walks towards you from the bottom of the mountain.
"You lot hold out okay?"

 

Shadow Stephanie snorts.

"I might've rubbed off on her." Shadow Stephanie says, spinning Stephanie's sword. With each spin, the blade seems to change slightly. However, what exactly changes is hard to tell.


"I-Is she alright?" Bea asks, kneeling down beside Amethyst and trying to wake her.

"I feel like she looks weirder with a head now." Abigail comments, looking at Amethyst.

"It worked though. I wonder what sort of magic it had." Artemis says.

 

"Around these sectors, that's not a good thing." Lenka sighs.


Amethyst groans, but doesn't stir.

Her head is the same gem-like color the rest of her body is, and she has webbing between her horns. Most of the bits of wear and damage on the rest of her body are gone as well, and her scales reflect more of the light around her than they used to.

 

"What even is this thing anyway..." Shadow Stephanie says to herself as she spins the sword.


Bea tries waking up Amethyst with another method.

"Wake up." Bea writes on Amethyst.

"Do you think there's a gem to lift the curse of each of these draconians?" Artemis asks Abigail.

"Probably. I think the hive master must left some in case he ever felt the urge to un-curse them because he decided to become a nice guy." Abigail shrugs.

Artemis goes silent, thinking.

"Wish I had my sunglasses..." Abigail comments.

 

"Ask Praecantatia, I guess."


Amethyst's arm slowly reaches towards Bea.
"Everything hurts
So much"

"Well, yes but.. there were still living some people between those ruins."

“I know... that was out of my control.” He sighs.

 

"So, tour?" Shadow Stephanie asks.


"She's hurt!" Bea says, panicked as she tries to heal Amethyst.

Artemis wraps Amethyst in vines to heal her, while Abigail throws about a fireball idly.

 

“Again, any ideas on where to start would be nice. Otherwise, the next closest thing is one of six obvservatories.”


Amethyst calms down significantly, but her movements are fairly rigid. She finally goes to open her eyes, but struggles to do much more than squint.
“B-bea... I... I can see...” She whispers, also seeming to struggle with talking.

 

"Observatories sound cool." Shadow Stephanie says.


Bea takes one of Artemis' vines and grows a large leaf on it, holding it above Bea's face to try and shield it from the bright light.

"Take it easy." Bea says, still healing Amethyst.

 

“In that case, I’ll hope we have a good view of something from here. If not... may as well teleport to another one.” Lenka shrugs, heading down the hall.


That doesn’t make her stop squinting.
“Everything’s... so bright...”

 

Shadow Stephanie follows, glancing around as she walks.


"We need something to darken things for her." Bea pleads.

Artemis thinks for a moment, before creating a small wooden stool and growing various plants and berries over it, crushing them up with her hands.

"Why did you come here anyways? And how did you find us?"

 

Idhaenna floats around outside, fiddling around with what seem to be a few model solar systems before she suddenly dons a huge smile and darts away, the solar systems vanishing with her.
"You spend much time with Idhaenna, or do you mostly stick with Xlentia?" Lenka asks.


Amethyst just makes a few slow movements, getting readjusted to her regained sensory.

"I had to ask around a bit."
