Generic Fantasy - [5/7]

"Stay close to the edge of the road to feel for intersections. On the second one in, turn left, walk for a few minutes, then start asking people to point you to the castle. I do hope you find your parents soon."

You reach the exit of the tunnel, with the lighting and nonexistent camera angle just perfect for a dramatic "unflinchingly walk from the explosion" shot.

You hike further up the city, which continues to be unendingly uphill.
Somehow, it keeps getting worse. Both in steepness and in living conditions, apparently.
Slightly more urgent is the death squad approaching you. You don't know for sure that they're a death squad, but they have weird bandannas on their arms with bleeding skulls on them, and each carry a variety of knives. Extremely 'creative' and most likely highly illegal knives.

 

"...Maybe......I mean I can afford that . . ." Kae responds now taking in the potion.

 

Dez:"I doubt that. Now tell me what you did or else this might get harder for you?"

 

"Okay... Thank you again..."

Well darn... you got me.
So since I came back from the... dead? Non-existence? idk. .-. Basically, I was put back in the time I enjoyed the most (8-10 so lots of friends, childhood memories, didn't fight before, little to no responsibilities, etc.) Besides, I don't have my memories so although my old personality might show through here and there, I'm presently going to act like a really paranoid, smart, non-8 year old. ._. Or something like that. >.> You know, I'm just going to be very paranoid around any strangers I se- hear.
If you were wondering how I fought them at such a young age, the two items I have really helped. Like, 'Magnification?' That things really powerful for spellcasting... which I can't do now. .-. kek. And, uh, 'Devour' is kinda OP late game for clearing crowds I think... (At least I would hope so)
Btw, I said I was a threat but... I wasn't really a threat. xD It was mainly the items clearing the minions and as for the big dude? RIP me, he could have dealt with me long ago.

 

I put on the invisbility spell and walk as far away as I can trying not to make noise. When I got far enough away I activate the bomb.

OOC: Rip. Now the camera just shows an explosion instead of a old cool man brandishing his weapons of choice - cookies and bread - wearing sunglasses walking away from an explosion that he totally didn't make. >.>

 

"Oh. Well then, rest up. I get the feeling that a lot more people are coming."

??? "Look, all I have to do is keep you occupied for 20 seconds, which I have, so I'm pretty much done here."

You walk in silence for about a minute.
"He's gone, nya... Let's see, I hope I'm not furgetting the direct-at the very least, none of them will go near that place. Well, there's one, but he's-ions to that 'castle', nya~."
His voice just got so much creepier (and blue, somehow) for those few seconds. Yup, it's one of those again.

You hear the rumbling of the collapsing street, because apparently the explosion was just that strong.
You have roughly 10 seconds of invisibility remaining, and there are guards everywhere.

They pretty much just parkour around you. One literally jumps off your shoulder. Seems you weren't their target.

 

OOC: If I haven't been walking for at least an hour, I would have no idea what this is...

If I know: "Han, look around for a group of people moving somewhere. Just, any group. Either a large group or many small groups leaving a place or heading towards an area."
If I haven't heard it before: "Han? You okay there? Your text just went blue for a moment. You sounded... off."
If I heard it before but don't understand what it is: "Han, you did it again. Do you remember what you said this time?"

 

I cast ward on myself just in case and say

I run as fast as I can away from them and get lightning spell and explosive cookies ready.

 

Startled, I go into a jog towards the center of the city, hoping to find something interesting

 

Kae nods muttering quickly and quietly, "Probably because of me . . ." before finishing the rest of her potion and then leaning back on whatever she's sitting on.

 

Han's face is as close to confusion as a cat can be for about 3 seconds. Nothing longer.

Fun note, there are so many items around you passively drawing out magic that you can see vague street shapes by the parts where all those magic items are on people, and moving.
The magical supernova is only about 50 feet away by now, and the only reason it doesn't hurt your eyes is both because what you do could very loosely be defined as sight, along with he fact that you're... well, you.

???: "Look, if my employer has any brains left, the death squad is already here, and he's gone, so you might as well stop trying."

The invisibility runs out as you duck into the nearest storefront. Camping supplies.

It is hard for a lumbering frost giant to catch assassins, apparently.

People are running in the other direction for some reason, but, against all odds, you manage to track them halfway across the city. They're jumping into the second floor of some building you don't recognize.

The bones in your legs begin crackling again, speedhealing themselves. You stab would begins to clot over. At its current pace, you have maybe a few hours until you're fully healed.

 

Ok im getting the fuck out of here preferably through a window or some other entrance that isn't the main door and cast invis as soon as possible
