My Drop Key Keeps Getting Reset To None

I set my drop key to H and every time I log back on minecraft it gets set to none and I keep saving the controls and it wont save

 

what version you on

go into game file and manually change and see if that saves

 

it resets every time you change version i think
if u change version commonly, it is probs that

 

I have the same issue, but I don't change version very often. It started about a month after I got wynn expansion, so I dunno if that screwed things up or not.

 

When holding a locked item in Wynn Expansion, it sets your drop key to none. If you want to drop something in your inventory then just select a hotbar slot with an item that isn't locked. Every now and then even when I'm holding an item not locked, my drop key doesn't work so for that I usually keep holding whatever it is that isn't locked and reset my drop key real quick, if how I explained it made any sense.
