Media Books & Copyright?

So a few minutes ago, I was writing a piece of lore for a custom item competition. As I was writing it, I was really enjoying it, and I'd like to write more about Wynncraft.

Then I remembered; Wynn's 5th birthday is coming up, so what's a better way to celebrate than to write a book/story? I would be writing this book on Wattpad, but I have no idea what the copyright on Wynncraft is.

If a staff member or anyone else who knows stuff about this could notify me if this idea is allowed or not, I'd be very happy.

The idea is that I write stories about Bob, and his adventures throughout Wynn. I would include references to the actual gameplay and quests, but also just make up stuff.

You might be able to release it, if your aren't planning to gain money from it. Not fully sure though.

 

Not sure yet. If this is allowed, I'll just start writing until I don't feel like it anymore. I could then choose to continue whenever I feel like it again. If I get enough motivation, I might make multiple parts.

Wattpad isn't made to gain money :P I'm not planning on releasing any of my books to bookstores or anything, and if I was, I'd be publishing my other books first.

what publisher is going to want to publish a book from an unprofessional author thats about a minecraft server

I meant it like your not a super popular author so they wouldnt publish your book, I dont know any other way to describe that than unprofessional

if you dont publish the book I believe that it can just be considered fan fiction and wynncraft cant sue for that

 

It is fine to post it if you make sure to put that it's fan made and if there's no money involved in the book's production.
