Need Help Between Which Pants

Soo i got 2 pants to pick from.
Chained Pixels; and
Winter's essence.

I'm a level 57 mage and don't know which of those is better. And i dont know if there's better pants around my level (If there is, please tell me). Pls help me pick :D

 

I'd recommend Chained Pixels if it has over 15% XP bonus

 

Hmm alright, now i got a weird nooby question, what powder should i be putting on my armor? I'll be putting like t3 or 4's because i know its a waste :).

 

Honestly I wouldn't put anything higher than a t2-3 powder on armor until at least level 90

 

at that level, just go for the one with better xp

Dont worry about powdering armors until you are making a really good build for level 100, I suggest instead to use 2xt4 powders for weapons you like, or t3 powders for transitioning weapons (that you wil change soon as you level up).
For the element to put on weapons... it depends on your stats, example if your armor/accessories gives a lot of + fire damage %, put fire powders, if there's no elemental damage bonus then just put what you feel like or if the mobs you are farming have a weak elem (you will see the elem icon followed by "weak" below their name) go for that since you will be dealing more damage
