I Am Sick And Tired Of This (csst Rant Incoming)

I feel like the best option would be to lengthen both SST and CSST, and then buff the XP SST gives. Like,maybe add more waves into the first portion of SST (preferably some waves with a form of area denial that spawns close to the door), add some area denial mobs into the 30 token room, add barriers in the boss room to force people to fall, add minions to the boss fight, and add a parkour room, so it at least takes some effort and is somewhat dangerous to hug the wall.

Alternatively, add another XP grinding spot that provides more XP per second but can only be done with a limited amount of players and takes a more active role.

 

There's already 2 in sky islands that were added last update, but no one uses them cause csst

Gotta be honest tho they're not easy to use tho....
But it really shows how blinded the high level player base is to the ACTUAL CONTENT of the game nowadays :((

I really am annoyed by these people with 5 lvl 100s that joined 6 months ago and don't know practically anything about the actual game. It's probably really demotivating to the CT that there are people that don't even enjoy the content and only use the game as a race to get to 100 the fastest.

 

where exactly tho...maybe if u actually advertise and tell people about it people might use them

 

well if dungeon parties went faster everyone would level up faster and you would have to pay less to win, but instead they keep the people that low the process down so you have to buy more bombs

sorry dragon I like you but if you dont like lazy people who wall hug, you could just go grind fh unless your lazy and just want to do something that takes no effort but gives ton more xp like csst

it isnt ridiculous for us to think that the ct is using broken csst to get more money, I dont know what the ct think about csst and I see this problem thats been here for months that provides allot of money and hasnt been fixed yet, why wouldnt I assume that the owners are using it to get more money

 

Actually, it more goes to show that designing SST to be that short and easy should've been an immediate red flag to the CT the moment it was designed.

Salted hadn't realized it at the time, and until Corrupted Sand-Swept Tomb became a thing, normal Sand-Swept Tomb was fine, if too easy, because it wasn't endgame where it "mattered". You scoot right along past it just doing quests as normal, so the dungeon being too short and easy for XP isn't an issue at Lv 36 or so. At Lv 86, however...

Don't take this to mean I'm against fixing it. I'm just saying the problem wasn't quite as transparent as it seems, especially considering the first couple of drafts of Sand-Swept Tomb were WAY too difficult. It was short, but extremely dense as well; things were downright unfairly hard at the level until balancers stepped in and removed a ton of unfair design choices.

 

1. Increase the price of dungeon bombs.
2. People will still pay for them.
3. $$_Profit_$$

 

idk man,change the minimun lvl to 80 and lower the xp given to higher lvls

 

Yeah that seems reasonable. It doesn't really make sense that corrupted dungeons are the only ones where the recommended level isn't the requirement.

 

Try CSST with a knucklebones

 

I would add another Corrupted dungeon before doing that.

Hi. I'm Thega, a player of wynncraft since late 2014, with 1632 logins and 137 hours played on my main class, mage.
My mage is currently level 100 with 38% XP. The next highest level class I have is Assassin, at level 75.
I don't go out of my way to join the latest XP abuse. I never had a cactus build, but sure, maybe 3 or 4 hours at frozen heights in a party.
Sure, maybe an hour at Dcave. Sure, maybe 19 runs of CSST. That was enough to check it out, get Judas, and hang around in parties with friends a couple times.
Personally, I think more than that is ridiculous. I have 3 times as many runs of the original skeleton dungeon, from back when my IRL friends played wynn.

Absolutely, wall hugging is bad. It's lazy. So was cactusing. So was partying up at Dcave or frozen heights and then sitting on a ledge. So was doing nothing at all in a swarm.
Truth is, everything has it's place. Dcave and frozen heights are legit good for grinding. CSST has great rewards and you can make great friends. But getting to the point where you are literally making no interaction with other players, just tryharding for recognition, gratification, or just copying the crowd, that is where you should reconsider.
Take a break. If you are playing a massively multiplayer game, don't be selfish, and if that's the only thing you are motivated to do, get off your computer. The world is massively multiplayer, and grinding in real life actually gets you something.
