Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

“Okay, fine, I’m not a sorceress.” She says, manipulating winds to give her somewhere to sit.

“People like who? The Hive Master?”

 

Stephanie nods.

 

There’s not very many winds, all of it coming from the portal.
“Okay. What are you, then?”

 

“He’s lost his foothold here. We’ve made sure of it. Besides, an arkship is one of the safest places to be out here.”

She causes a breeze converging on her.
“A goddess.” She mumbles, rubbing her eyes.

 

"Can we continue the tour?" Stephanie asks.

 

Lenka nods.
“Just keep that in its sheathe, and I’ll take you to your chambers as well.”

 

Stephanie steps back, surprised.

 

“I told your mother, you’re part of the group we were assigned to take through the stars, were you to come. There are several rooms altered to make each of you feel more at home, in a separate section from the crew. Did you think I was lying?”

 

Stephanie looks unsure, worried.

 

Lenka sighs.
“Are we not allowed to extend our hospitality outside our family?”

 

“...What?”
“You heard her.”
“I’m pretty sure I misheard her.”

 

“Then I’ll say it again. I’m a goddess.”

 

The boy’s jaw drops as he struggles to find a response. Voidfiller, on the other hand, seems to get a kick out of this, as he’s chuckling.

 

Keila uses a quick gust of wind to make sure there’s air in the boy’s lungs.

 

He closes his mouth as a reaction to the wind, then resorts to turning to and approaching Voidfiller.
“You know a goddess?!”
He says in a shout-whisper.
“Several.”
“What?!”
“Yeh.”
Voidfiller’s got a wild grin on his face.

 

"I-I'm sorry." Stephanie says, looking down.

 

“Better me than the Great Destroyer, no?”

“No, if something’s wrong, then we need to know.” Lenka insists.

 

"It's fine." Stephanie says, hiding beneath her helmet.

 

Lenka shakes his head.
“No, it’s clearly not.”

 

Stephanie backs up a bit.
