“Should I take her on the rest of the tour? Though... not talking might be a problem.”

“Didn’t I tell both of you to avoid the thorns?”

“Okay, then... What’re the possible repercussions?”

 

"If you could, I'd appreciate it." Praecantatia says.

 

“Will she ever start talking? It’s sort of weird trying to understand if a mute understands.”

 

“A really bad headache. Or passing out. Depends on mental fortitude.”

 

"That's up to her, she's been rather quiet as of late." Praecantatia says.

 

“Is that it?”

“I don’t think my other children will be keen on touring her if she keeps up that facade. I told them Stephanie was a sweet young girl, and I’m getting reports left and right that she looks murderous and that security levels are being raised.”

 

"And we told you that Sgavrinn was sinking through the path and hit the thorns."

 

“There’s been no records of death directly due to the circlets. It’s like holding your breath; you’ll pass out before you kill yourself.”

 

“I didn’t know he was that heavy! Wait... when did you tell me that?”

“So... it’s only exhausting, not actually particularly dangerous?”

 

“Well, it can be very exhausting, which in and of itself can be dangerous if you’re in the wrong place at the wrong time.”

 

"Define wrong place and wrong time."

 

“Flying, swimming, fighting, working in a forge, eating copious amounts of food, not turning the oven off, any time or place that would not be good to pass out.”
He lists off using his fingers.

 

“Okay, a serious answer, please.”

 

“That was. You would fall, drown, get stabbed, burn, choke, burn more, a lack of strenuous activity is probably for the best.”

 

“So, don’t do anyujg that could potentially be hazardous.”

 

"I can't let her out of her armour, I don't want her getting hurt again. I'm not sure if I'd be able to save her after she's already hurt." Praecantatia says.

 

"A few minutes after we entered the garden, like I said."

 

“Yeah, and it should be fine.”

 

Idhaenna sighs.
