A Modern Day Fantasy Rp [6/10]

Ok after trying to second sight the 6 from Nibiru, it becomes clear that every time you try, you get kicked out instantly. Probably because of Quantum? Anywway, you contact Dr. Lakrow who instantly says when she picks up, "Yes, I'm aware of the current predicament so please focus on not getting set on fire or getting killed by Quantum," she then hangs up. Wow topkek. What now?

Yeah you got Tsu's message I guess.

"Why did you start the fire only to put it out?" Cander asks before his expression finally shows that he understands the plan. "You are going to owe Cat, Raisa, and Willo a big explanation later. I'm going to try and stay out of the fight to conserve the rest of my energy." Cander says feeding power to his amulet. What now?

@Tsu and @Arch see this too. I just didn't want to type it out twice lol.

So for the most part, everything seems like a stalement although. It also seems much harder to get rid of the rest of the cloaked dudes (Order NIBIRU cronies) because of Quantum and Alexis supporting them as well. Quantum is occupying both of the archers (Aquila and Kayla although Tigger wouldn't know their names) and Alexis (Tigger wouldn't know her name either) with the 6 cloaked guys are occupying Noctua (Aka Scythe Dude for Tigger since he doesn't know this angel's name either).

 

... Not getting killed by Quantum seems... easier than it should since I' not fighting... on that note, let's start fighting.

"Noctua, which one?!" I then activate True Sight detecting magic and shoot at whichever one Noctua tells me. I'll shoot mainly at the magic aura I see (does that do anything? >.>) but if they don't have magic, I aim more for their joints (knees, ankles, elbows then wrists).
Also, I look to see if Quantum/Alexis is moving about, moving the fight to a different location or if the fight is just staying in the same area.

 

I run to the dude fighting 6 cloaked guys with all my speed, infuse electricity into my blade, and take a swing at the remaining cloaked guys.

 

Let's try not to hit the newcomer as he comes in. If he blocks my line of sight however, I switch targets to Alexis. If that's blocked as well, I move back towards Cuffs and don't shoot.

 

I nod at Cander leaving him be and try to get one of the angel’s (I’m assuming they would have their wings out now) attentions to get them to teleport us all out of the ring of fire.

 

Oh it seems pretty far off but after only taking a couple steps in the direction of the asteroid, the cloaked guy stops you by grabbing your arm. "Who the eff are you to think that?" the guy says.

You land the hit effectively shocking and injuring the guy you hit. But then . . .

Suddenly, a figure grabs you and all of your friends / allies are teleported out of the ring of fire. You see Cuffs then grip his amulet and the ring of green/purple fire burns everything inside of it some of it catching onto the Statue of Liberty. You can hear some screaming from inside the ring of fire. What now?

You see one of the newcomers (Tigger) hit someone with an electric sword severely shocking and injuring the guy he slashed at. As Noctua is about to tell you to shoot someone, a figure grabs you and all of your friends / allies are teleported out of the ring of fire. You see one of the newcomers then grip his amulet and the ring of green/purple fire burns everything inside of it some of it catching onto the Statue of Liberty. You can hear some screaming from inside the ring of fire. What now?

You successfully manage to catch the girl angel's attention (Aquila) and she nods. She vanishes and suddenly, a figure grabs you and all of your friends / allies are teleported out of the ring of fire. You then grip your amulet and the ring of green/purple fire burns everything inside of it some of it catching onto the Statue of Liberty. You can hear some screaming from inside the ring of fire. What now?

 

I move so that I'm closer to Kayla (behind her if possible, beside her if not. just take, like, 3 or 4 steps.).
I look for who grabbed us (cause I dun know how Quila's teleportation works [if it was that]).
Afterwards, I try to figure out where we are and do a head count (Me, Kayla, Aquila, Noctua, Cuff, Cander, Tigger & anyone else who's here [who may or may not be on our side])

 

I look at Cander and say, "Hurry! Get to the water!"

 

I'm going to take today to visit the statue of liberty, mainly because 'asteroid' does in fact, scream 'covered up magic explosion'.

 

"At this point I think that it would be more important to find out what's going on.

 

I open a window to look at the impact zone.

 

“I honestly don’t think someone as worldly as I has any right to tell you” I say, ego getting bigger XD

 

I lay down and try to regain my energy, as I'm spent from using multiple abilities at once.

 

That was Aquila's teleportation

Aquila flies over the fire causing a small snow / hailstorm and you watch Cander step into the water and hold his amulet closing his eyes focusing deeply. Suddenly, you see all the water surrounding the statue base come up and wash onto the fire slowly putting it out with the help of the small storm. The fire is put out after a matter of seconds and you can see uh . . . only 7 burnt corpses . . .

"Did you really think I wouldn't see that coming?" a voice yells from behind your group. You turn around to see Quantum alone this time with a wicked expression. "You've gotta try better than that to kill someone like me," he then snaps his fingers vanishing out of sight. You see Cuffs go pick up Cander from the water (Cander's unconscious now). What now?

It's just out of sight in the horizon north but you can see the smoke from miles away. What now?

"You've got some nerve to think so highly of yourself," the guy fires back.

Attempt to Second Sight Quantum then Alexis again. Maybe he's too tired to stop me? >.> kek.
If neither works: I walk over to Cuffs and Cander. "He okay?" I point towards Cander.

OOC: Are we still near the Statue of Liberty?

Edit: wait... there were only 6 cultists... .-. Is Alexis a burnt corpse now? If so, skip Second Sighting Alexis.

 

“why do you give me a reason not to think so highly of myself” I smirk as I taunt him

 

Ok it takes you like 20 - 40 minutes (idfk) for you to get ready . . . Now you have to think about how you'll actually get there . . . just by walking or by taking a cab? . . . What now?

"Well I don't want the base to get raided while I'm out of my post especially since we've been attacked once and had a criminal escape just now," the guy (Mr. Hanzo) shrugs.

"Are you mentally incapable in realizing that you aren't the most important person in the world?" he says back.

There were actually 12 Order NIBIRU cronines. 6 got knocked unconscious fighting Cander, Tigger, and Cuffs and another one got severly injured / shocked by Tigger. That makes 7 people. The rest (including Alexis) were teleported out.

 

OOC: huh. Okay. Makes sense.

 

OOC: Tbh, I doubt @Azura’s gonna let you second sight Quantum/Alexis so I’ll just reply

“Yeah, he’ll be fine,” I reply. “Just drained majorly from the magic he preformed. He’s done it before.”

 

OOC: Doesn't hurt to try seven times in a row. xD Anyways skip the Second Sight.

Nodding my head after his response I turn to Aquila an Kayla.
"You two okay?" I say towards them, completely ignoring Noctua. (Hmph. >.>)
