Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

Praecantatia tries throwing a (comparatively huge) empty potion bottle where a mech would go.

 

It's turned into data, but the funnel turns red and a small ball-core-thing that looks just like the one Lust threw Praecantatia pops back out before the funnel returns to its normal color.

Lust storms out from the back room.
"WHO THE HELL THREW A DAMN POT IN TH-"
She cuts herself off upon realizing it's Praecantatia.
"I... I didn't mean that..." She sighs, looking like someone stabbed her in the gut. "Sorry."

 

"It's your choice. I won't go looking for your body if that's what you're thinking."

 

“No, no, I just... I need time to myself.” They sigh, flying off.

 

He stays quiet as he watches the bee fly off.

 

"My apologies, I shouldn't have interfered." Praecantatia says.

 

“Please don’t report me...” Lust says quietly.

By now, Sgavrinn seems to have toured the entire garden and is on his way back towards you.

 

"Report you? For what?" Praecantatia asks.

 

"Slandering a god or goddess. I swear I didn't know it was you, I didn't mean to lash out like that..."

 

Praecantatia laughs.

"You should hear some of the things the mortals on Earth have said about me." Praecantatia says, amused.

 

Lust lets out a sigh of relief, jumping a bit as a hologram appears in front of her face before she runs off.
"On my way, don't let that go through!" She shouts.

 

Praecantatia decided to shrink down to average mortal size to get a better look at the mechs.

 

They're about three times the size of a human, and a few shorter creatures are now visible running around.
Some have a chamber for a pilot, others don't. Some damaged mechs also have what look to be their unconscious (or dead, hard to tell) pilots in similar suits beside them, holograms displaying connections between the mech and remote pilot... though most of those connections appear red.

 

"And? How was the garden? Did you enjoy the pretty flowers everywhere?"

 

He nods, humming happily despite still being mostly focused on his footing.

 

Praecantatia tries to sense any life or magic within some of the pilots to see if they're truly dead.

 

It's about a 50-50 split, though there's one pilot slowly coming to.
"Aawyar, can you hear me?"
The pilot weakly nods.
"You're going to be okay. You didn't lose yourself."
They faintly smile in response, relaxing (or going limp - again, hard to tell) in the console they're suspended in.

 

Praecantatia takes a mage crystal out of her jacket, before focusing her power into it. Praecantatia's hair starts to raise slightly as the crystal morphs into a hollow sphere. The sphere appears to have snaking cylinders to create it's shape, and glows a rainbow of colours. Praecantatia telkinetically places the crystal sphere into the console, creating a temporary hole to put it into the pilot's hand.

Praecantatia walks away, looking around at the workers doing their jobs.

 

"You're not hurt from the thorns, are you?"

 

"E-excuse me, ma'am, what does that orb do?" One of the workers asks, curious.

It's hard to see any part of what's going on; countless conversations, creatures running around, the constant ebb and flow of holograms coming and going... It almost seems impossible for a bunch of mortals to manage, discounting the fact this is Idhaenna's palace.

He shakes his head, though by now he's passing you.
