1. The definition of the word "build" in itself

2. I'm serious, what is this term's meaning: "rainbow slap"? I don't understand what it is

Basically just items you put together, a build can be anything, no matter if its good or bad, or even its level.

I'm not entirely sure, but I think that's just a meta rainbow build

Not really, I'd say decent, but you can build a way better build other than just all morph items ;)

Eh, I'm not really too much into build making at the moment, someone will probably have a better answer than I.

Items that have defense in all the elements (maybe attack too, but I'm not sure)

Not really, don't make a build for level 95, wait for when you are level 100, for now, only build xp and level up ;)

 

1: Basically a loadout consisting of armor, accessories and weapon.
2: Rainbow slap is generally looked down upon in the community, because all it does is using a bunch of overused/unoriginal rainbow defense items
3: They're good, but overused.
4: Meta always changes; There's no telling now that Spring builds won't be nerfed into the ground like previous cactus, cancer melee, apoc and cata did.
5: Rainbow items are items with properties of all elements; rainbow elemental defense for armor and every type of damage for weapons.
6: Using off-meta items and managing to create synergy with each other despite there being more popular options I guess?
7: Cactus: gay af
8: Get to 100 first, not really a lot of stuff for 90s to work with

1. A build is a specific set of armor, accessories and weaponry that work together to support a playstyle. For example, if you like thunder and are good at dodging stuff, a glassy thunder build (which means going fully for thunder damage, maybe some mana and walk speed) would work well for you.

2. Rainbow slap is a joke term for the current meta, which is using a generic rainbow tank build with tons of skillpoints and then "slapping" a mythic/powerful weapon on top, even though that weapon has nothing to do with rainbow. Cataclysm is a good example.

3. Imo the Morph set is really strong, so no they're really not that bad.

4. See #2.

5. Rainbow items are items that use all 5 elements. Such as Libra, or Cascade.

6. I think with creativity people mean builds that aren't already being used by literally everyone.

7. Cactus build means having a build with super high amounts of thorns and/or reflection. That means that when a mob damages you, that mob takes damage too.

8. You shouldn't "worry" about it, but looking for some items that match your playstyle on Wynndata wouldn't hurt.

4. There are overused builds. Items like t-tide, sitis, thrunda, alka comet, nepta, and judas are a few very actively used weapons for reasons that become obvious when seeing their stats. Not all of these items are inherently OP or anything, but definitely are used more often than others for their exceptional stats.
6. Creativity in build making is essentially going where no one else has before and trying something new. Of course that is typically harder and ends up being just short of other meta builds, but such builds shouldn't be underestimated either. Honestly coming up with a new and unique build isn't hard if you get comfortable with some of the odd items in the game. Weapons like island sniper, morrowind, black can provide an interesting base for creative builds (although as of late black and island sniper have been getting more attention from the community). There are plenty of builds still to be made, and lower level builds also haven't really been explored much yet.
Also going with 2. , rainbow slap builds can be creative given an odd weapon choice is attached to them, but honestly are some of the least fun builds for the community to ever see. Just recently I saw a rainbow slap black build *cough* * @12DaBob27 * *cough* and was disgusted. I'll leave it at that; rainbow builds are good, creative builds are good, but rainbow slap builds, creative or otherwise, are awful.

 

Yeah that build really is an abomination aaaaaaa it triggers me daily and i have it bookmarked with the title "NO."
