“Dude, I’m here to chill,” Noctua says. “And to make sure you don’t get destroyed by these two.” That got him a death glare from Aquila.

Kayla however ignored the comment. “What did you want to talk with me in private about?”

Both angels turned their attention towards you, Noctua with a look of interest and Aquila with a stony expression.

 

OOC: Best first date impressions...

OOC: uh... "don't come near my daughter or I'll smite you... or something?"

"I feel as if the last two questions already screwed me over... Have something to say, you two?" (towards Angels)

You and Cander are walking down Bowery Steet from the south and notice a destroyed bank. as well as a huge crowd and a couple police and firetrucks around as well. "What do you think happened here?" Cander asks almost looking like he's going to reach for his amulet. What now?

"I think they've left already," the police officer says simply. What now?

Yeah that's basically what she's saying rn

"Yeah I don't got anything to say," Noctua says uncooperatively. Aquila just sits there letting you answer the question. Rip you.

 

OOC: ooo. Welcome. :D Cander's prob someone important in his backstory, isn't it... >.> And an amulet... to cast magic? Custom system? ;p;

OOC: One person left we have two slots open! ... Well uh... Good luck with that. >.<

"... Well you're helpful." I say towards Noctua. "Kayla, what are your plans for the rest of the night regarding Quantum and the rest of his group?"

 

I shrug and say, "I don't know. I'll go ask around." I then go ask one of the firefighters what is going on.

 

Actually only 1. Arch took Paradoxical's place and then I added an extra slot so 9/10.

"I . . . don't know . . . " she responds. "He's impossible to find if he doesn't want to be found so I don't know . . ."

"Way to avoid a question," Noctua says in your head once again. Aquila is still giving you that stony expression.

 

OOC: Shh... I can math...

OOC: I wonder if thinking in my head will transmit it over to him?

I shrugs. "Aquila, is there something on my face? If so, I'll leave it there, so you can stare all you want..."

 

OOC: Where’s our resident lie detector when you need him?

I guess I’ll drag the guy over to one of those interrogation rooms, tie him up a bit more, make sure the exits are sealed, and wait for the guy to come to (may have smacked him around a bit much, tbh.)

 

OOC: "I'm having a fun time with two underage girls in a private room..." Basically, I'm getting mauled and screwed over... D: HELP!

 

I run back to the lady in the car, this client might be there.

 

Yeah that fails.

Aquila rolls her eyes and then fixes her gaze on the floor. Noctua then abruptly yells, "Lex! Can you stop trying to eavesdrop by putting your ear next to the wall? Your like a freaking weirdo stalker or something!"

"Okay, fine!" a voice yells back through the wall. "Not like your situation looks any better!"

Suddenly, the temperature drops from normal to below zero. "Leave." Aquila says much more menacingly and agitatedly.

"OKAY I'M LEAVING! OKAY?" Lex screams. After about 1 minute of freezing (rip you, everyone else is fine), the temperature grows back to normal.

"Well then," Noctua says. "What has gone wrong in this world?"

Yeah after going through several turns and hallways, you reach the game room which has a load of different consoles and remotes and TVs littered around it. Oh and there's an arcade in the back cuzynot. "Basically the chill place, aye?" Chaz says. "What you wanna do?"

You wait for 30 min . . . and nothing topkek. You still gonna wait?

"There was a local gang called Fate or something that blew up the bank," the firefighter says. "They tried to escape away with files but they were all found unconscious down the road." What now?

The client isn't there. It seems she also just received a call (the woman). She rolls down the window and says, "If you think my client will be here, they won't. They just backed out."

 

OOC: I don't think the world likes having two little girls alone in a room with us...
I sigh (+5) "How much information will leak out of this place?"

 

"What were you meeting for? Just who are you?"

 

I then go back to Cander and tell him what happened. (Do I get semi control of Cander?) I then ask him if he knows anything about the clan Fate before (why doesnt my character know this already lol).

 

"The name is Dr. Lakrow," the woman says. "Now if I may ask, who are you and why are you so curious about what I do?"

How tf would having semi control of Cander work?

"No . . . I don't know about them, I thought maybe you would know about them to be honest," Cander responds. Wat now?

"Well the walls are definitely not soundproof," Noctua points out. "Depends on how much you say and how many people are listening."

"We don't need a lecture right now," Aquila snaps. "Why don't you just say what you have to say and get it over with without getting sidetracked," Aquila says icily towards you.

 

OOC: Woah! She's such a good ice mage that it affects her speech too! o-o
I shrug. "Hey, I was trying to find a way to drop this lightly but okay."
I turn over to Kayla. "You know how the Magia Tenebris," I lift up a finger to shush her if she looks like she's about to speak up. "are resurrecting themselves and some other people?"
If she makes some confirmation (sound/nod): I grin. "Well I want in on this." I then eat my cheesecake as if what I said was perfectly normal.
If she's doesn't reply (stunned/surprised): "You know how dangerous that is for everyone? And that's why I'm jumping right into the fray." *QUICK EAT THE CHEESECAKE*

 

I’ll check to make sure we haven’t accidentally killed the guy. Either way, I’m going to carry him with me until he either wakes up or I figure out how the facility deals with dead bodies. Speaking of which, I’ll start wandering the halls once more.

 

Kayla . . . looks stunned / shocked. Frozen in place. Both angels glance at you. Then, after a couple of seconds of silence, Kayla barely utters, "How . . . how do . . . how do you know......?" Aquila's expression is unreadable and Noctua's expression has turned from casual joking to serious.

Yeah there's a pulse. He's alive. Anyway, after walking for about 5 minutes carrying the dude, he groggily wakes up . . . surprised . . . and struggles. What now?
