Is Fortnite A Good Game?

I only play PC so it give me an opportunity to play with my friends who only use PS4. Game is repetitive, but all multiplayer games are to an extent, playing with your friends are the only way this game is fun, so I understand when people don't like the game.

I’m genuinely surprised that majority of people think Fortnite is trash (which I completely agree on). I just hate it how Fortnite is the center of attention in my school plaguing the minds of everyone making it the ‘best video game’ that’s always talked about. I feel like the only person in my school who sees Fortnite as a bad game and everyone just hammers me down when I point out it’s flaws, and that it’s just a cliche rip-off.

 

For me in school it is like in 5th - 7th Grade (age 10-12) everyone LOVES it and thinks its the best game ever.
Then, in 8th and 9th grade, and in my class, too, it is like (im also 8th) some like it because you can troll other players and most hate it, because of 9-11 (lol) year old kids from other countries that shout in voice chat all the time

Popular != Good

Fortnite is an okay game... But it has become terrible because of fans, nost pepole will start to hate fortnite for the same reason pepole started disliking minecraft...

The shitty 10-12 year old fanbase (not saying the all children that age are terrible, just the majority.)

 

Dude, my math class is full of so many fortniters, my teacher can barely actually teach the class.

 

Bruh. Also, I think so many people from 9-whatever like it cuz you are "allowed" to play at at 12 yrs old

 

I'm playing it sometimes with my friend, but it's really not the best game of all time tbh.

Same here, but in my school its understandable cause majority of kids in my school think CoD WW2 is a brilliant game.

They also have a strong liking towards fever dream music too.

 

wdym CoD is definitly a better game and deserved a higher rating than Witcher 3

never played it, and RNG is my least favorite thing in gaming (so getting something good or bad is up to luck)

I don't think its bad, I just think its overated and streamers and youtubers are just playing it cause it gets them views and subscribers (AKA being giant SCUM)

can you all just let someone play something they like? I mean, kids are dumb, and when they see something "cool" they flock to it like birds to some bread, the faster you're there, the cooler you are.

for now, i'll just let it be.
