So this is going to be the thread for announcements and multi-group interactions. The DMs will all make their own threads for their party

Welcome.

You have each, through some method or another, made a deal. You require something, and your need has been noticed. A god has offered each of you a chance for a wish. However, of course, this wish is not free. You must work for it. You must fight for it.

You find yourselves standing in complete darkness. Now, this is not normal darkness, you are not in a dark room. You are standing on an unseen floor made of inky blackness. All you can see all around you is this same darkness. Except for each other. Somehow, despite the darkness, you can see all the other figures in the room clearly.

You are all standing around a triangle. The triangle is the hollow and made of glowing white light. In the middle of the triangle floats an angelic creature. The celestial figure is a large angel with iron-gray feathers, a wizened yet young face, pale blue wizard robes, and a giant gavel. His hands also glow with arcane runes.

At each side of the triangle, each of you stand on circles of white light.

On one side of the triangle stands an elven woman with long brown and blue hair, purple eyes, studded armor, flowing robes, boots, a pendent, and has a crystal stud in one ear. To the woman’s right is a dwarf with an extremely bulky build. He has blue eyes, light skin, long ginger hair, and a goatee. He wears plate armor, a cloak made of metal, and a horned helmet. He has several axes on his body and wears an amulet. Finally, to the left of the elven woman is an ordinary-looking mountain dwarf in well crafted plate mail and holding a halberd with a lightning-powered glass tube in it. She looks small, and wears a plain soldier’s uniform.

On the next side of the triangle stands a tall, gray skinned Firbolg carrying a staff. To his right is an elf in a typical witch outfit. She has brown hair, silver eyes, and carries a broom. Finally, to the right of the Firbolg is a 6 foot tall half-orc. He has brown eyes and black hair and wears plate armor and a cloak and carries a lance, longsword, and bow.

On the final side of the triangle of a silver Dragonborn who stands crouched, using his hand to support some of his weight. Despite his crouching he is still very tall, and must be over 7 feet fully standing. To his left is a very charming pale man. He’s between 5 and 6 feet, human, ad wears lose chainmail. To the dragonborn’s right is a red-skinned tiefling. He is between 5 and 6 feet but his horns add an extra inch or so. He has no armor but dons a cloak.

The angelic being in the center of the triangle speaks up. No matter where you are standing in the triangle, the figure seems to be facing you. “My name is Anu Bei. I am a god of universal law and time. You have all been selected to be given the gift of immense power, but you may not all wield it. You must fight for it, to prove you are worthy. These are your teams. The rule is simple. The last ones standing may earn the reward. Now, begin!”

And with that, a flash of blinding light fills the darkness, and you all wake up.

That’s gonna get really spammy real fast

 

To all the players of this campaign. As you may know, the only way to be eliminated from this campaign is to be killed by another player of this campaign. BUT... there is another way. We have hidden a bounty hunter somewhere in this map. Any player who comes across the bounty hunter may pay the bounty and hire him to find and attempt to kill another player. If a player gets killed by the bounty hunter, they will also be eliminated from the campaign just as if a player had killed them. Normal resurrection rules apply.

 

Wait, so you can resurrect PCs even if they're killed by another player?

 

No more like if you're knocked out people can help you back up.

 

I'm not leaving people unconscious, then.

 

What about spells like Revivify that bring a dead pc to life?

 

But don't kill people during w battle when their team is still alive. That's just a dick move.

 

We agreed that resurrection spells were allowed.

 

Why not? Why would I leave people alive for healers? I'm killing any downed enemy I see.

That's the question. Could someone Revivify a teammate who died to another player?

 

Don't you need a diamond for that? If your dm doesn't want you to use it you won't get one.

 

I bought one before the game began.
