Ok you're roaming down University Avenue near the Bronx Community College. However, you notice some shady looking cloaked figure walking down the opposite way. What now?

How tf do i start you up.

You're walking down Bowery street and notice a completely destroyed bank. There's a couple police cars and firetrucks laying around as well as a huge crowd and an expensive Audi R8 Quattro sitting watching the action. What now?

 

OOC: Arms? Who needs arms with legs like these? Nvm, they blew up the extra legs too.

I guess I’ll start to tie up the hooded guy, smack him unconscious if he appears to be coming around.

Niko (to Blue): Anyways, I don’t believe the two of us have met before. -Offer a hand for a handshake- The name’s Niko, I... work here as a general sparring partner. And you are?

You then look over at the jail area still and identify that the guy with orange / red magic is still there. Afterwards, you go ahead and look at the girl's dormitory rooms and find yourself watching a standoff. You see a hooded figure with a sword lashing out bombs (they're still rocks) at their opponent who is Kayla. Kayla is able to shoot all the bombs back (with arrows) at the sword wielder though before they explode and the sword wielder is always forced to shield themselves from their own bombs. It appears to be a stalemate for a while with the end of the corridor the sword wielder is in getting destroyed by the bombs. However, the sword wielder finally runs out of bombs and decides to charge straight in at Kayla who simply just connects three arrows simultaneously to the blade of the sword knocking the sword out of the sword wielder's grip. She then proceeds to shoot a regular arrow at full drawback aimed at the hooded figure's leg effectively removing movement capability and making them unconscious (due to the pain) at the same time. Looks like all the infiltrators has been dealt with. Mr. Hanzo hasn't activated his 'classic' yet though. What now?

I look up (finally gonna deactivate True Sight), glance at what Hanzo's doing, use an eye dropper, and then focus on what Hanzo's doing.

You then glance at Mr. Hanzo who finally decided it was time to activate whatever he has built. A device materializes next to him and he presses one of the buttons on them. Looking at the camera screens, you can see a little siren light going off in the vents and a sign popping up saying "Intruder Detected. Death Ray in 5 Seconds". The guy with his legs rooted in the vents looks awfully terrified struggling to move. Suddenly, you see a bolt of electricity from the camera itself and it shocks the hooded figure for about 1 minute before drying off. The scene is kinda terrifying but kinda funny as well seeing a guy frozen in a bolt of electricity getting shocked repeatedly making a different horrified facial expression (you can see his face now I guess) every few seconds of freedom. Mr. Hanzo laughed and snickered the whole time. Finally, the guy's body falls to the ground definitely not dead but just unconscious.

"He'll be awake in 30 minutes," Mr. Hanzo says. He then desummons the device he pulled out. What now?

 

At this point, I'm not sure I have the will to re-join. It's kinda been a while, I've gotten involved in other things, and I'm still busy IRL.

 

It's okay if you can't continue, I can just turn your character into an NPC (cough cough totally not uh stealing an idea frmo Tree_Legacy cough cough).

 

"Nice... uh... death ray."
I blink my eyes a few times to make sure I saw it right.
"But, that's just 1... you have more of these set around?"

OOC: Is he a weapon master or something? But does that device count as a weapon? .-. Maybe a mechanic skill? (weird magic that doesn't fit with the ones you labeled). Confused. >.<

OOC: Also, random question since we just had a fight, did the MSSA train me in combat? (Close combat, ranged, evading, etc.) Cause if so, I might just 'visit' fights every now and then. xD

 

"There's one set at every camera in the vents," Mr. Hanzo responds. "None of them are charged up though so I charge them myself using 'Electromagic' whenever they are needed although that's like never in this base."

I feel like I could have made it better.. meh. Let's continue building my backstory as we go on so I don't get completely destroyed. xD (TBH: was going for a non-combat character [and I'll play it that way] but being introduced to Quantum at the start is... uh... making me nervous about my fighting capabilities. >.<)

 

"Well not really," Hanzo shrugs. "It's more of a relatively new type of magic that has just recently been springing out. I guess you can say I'm lucky to have it."

It's more related to the transfer of energy but lightning is the transfer of energy so it's there I guess. There's also some uh, steam I guess. It also works well with machines . . . I mean Mr. Hanzo is a mechanic

Ive thought about this ahead of time before even releasing this thread out in Forum Games. Obviously, Quantum is the main antagonist but he's gonna be someone that will take a group effort to handle (basically a true force to be reckoned with). That is why I waited for his escape to happen when at least three people (irl players) were in the complex so that he doesn't go on a full out murdering rampage (his escape started when BlueSlimerino teleported into the building if you remember).

There are also some positives about this I guess.
He's also narcissistic so that slows him down and he has way too ambitious goals that end up being his downfalls. Also some of the good NPCs are pretty powerful as well such as James being a young but really powerful Shardaic Mage or Arya with her assortment of powerful ancient magic or Mr. Hanzo with his unique magic capabilities or even one of the other enemies Lex having an above average rune casting system. That's not considering some of the other unintroduced good / neutral NPCs as well.

The thing I don't like about my assortment of powerful bad / good NPCs is that it doesn't let some of you players be able to do a lot of the work (hence why I split off the tight teen group all over the map at the start . . . until you called them all together . . . wait Mr. Lopez said to do that nvm . . . oops). It's why I let Niko and BlueSlimerino deal with that one guy on their own (with the exception of Chaz) without interference from any major NPCs (Chaz is a major NPC but isn't as powerful . . . I forgot to add him to the NPC list . . . oof). I'm considering a couple ideas that can help you all out to become more 'powerful' in a sense to make the battleground more leveled against Quantum and other future enemies. But yeah, that's about it lol.

I walk closer to the scene, keeping the air of a curious passerby. I work my way through the crowd, and steal a few quick glances at the inside of the car.

You see a lady in the car watching the scene intently. You also see a man in the driver seat, probably the butler or something of this woman. That's about it .-.

Well let's go check sround the base using True Sight. Then, second sight in this order (only move on to the next one if the current one fails)

If they all fail... then I'll think about it later. >.<
