Ihra nods.
“I see what you mean now... and definitely a good thing you kept that from Xlentia.”

The captain bows again.
“Well, I’m sorry your welcome to our reality is a bit much of a culture shock, Lady Gaia. It was an honor meeting you, and I hope you can find respite from our differences somewhere in the stars. Travel safe.”

 

"I hope your journey through space is safe and successful." Gaia says, smiling.

 

“Thank you. We’ll be taking our leave, now. Can’t keep people waiting on this medical equipment.” He says, bowing one more quick time before closing the projection and the ship starts quickly accelerating off.

 

Gaia sighs.

“...What’s wrong?” Xlentia asks, a bit worried as she starts to continue on.

"I should return to my garden soon. This place is making me irritable." Gaia says.

 

“Oh... I’m sorry. I, uh... I’ll remember not to take you around here, then.” Xlentia says, opening a portal back. “Emerald said I shouldn’t talk to mortals this much, anyways.”

 

"You can do that?"

 

"Easily. I can go anywhere in that power plant, and nobody'd ask any questions. It'd just be a matter of figuring out how I can... convince them to let a demon into the city."

 

"What, about talking animals? It just takes a lot of creativity."

 

"No, about the dream world and how people can live here while being asleep. I dunno how people manage to know so much about it."

 

"I don't know how I did it. I just fell asleep, met Sgavrinn, and then this happened."

 

"Well, of course. You can't really dream well without sleeping."

 

"Well, I wasn't expecting to be transported to some dreamworld. I thought I would have a normal dream."

 

"No, it is my fault. I'm not used to being this far from home." Gaia says.

 

"Cool. Very interested to see what that place is like."

 

"Well, dreams happen somewhere, don't they?"

"I'll try not to keep you waiting, but... all due respect, I'm sort of prioritizing my survival over your visit."

Xlentia doesn't respond, heading back through the portal and carefully landing outside her palace.
"Well, if you're heading home, maybe you could take your child back to Earth with you? A bunch of little mortals seemed even more concerned about having to go through the Realm of Shadows as of late."
