Ihra gives him a bit more dirt and rock to work with.
“You going to be okay?”

 

Crystal goes back to toying around, making a scene with his figurines.

"What?! He'll wake up!"
The ferret looks down at the footprints, then pauses.
"Ooooh... I think he's too heavy."

 

"To heavy? How does that make sense? You would still get pricked even if you were heavy."

 

"The path can't hold him up. He's sinking into the plants."

 

"But will he get pricked then?"

 

"Yeah, there are thorns down under the path."

 

"So what will happen when he gets pricked? He wakes up you said?"

 

Gaia tries to read the hydra's mind, curious.


"Y-Yeah." Alex says, moulding the rocks and attaching them to himself.

Alex watches as he tries to surround himself with dirt.

 

“...She looks like the storybooks... but I thought I turned her to stone? No... this isn’t Gaia. She’s far too graceful, far too kind. Genuine. But who...”


Ihra keeps giving Alex more dirt.

“Yeah.”

 

Gaia decides to grow a bounty of fruit and vegetables around the hydra, with thorns around their outside so only they can easily eat them.


Alex surrounds himself with dirt, seeming to get better after a short while.

 

The hydra seems hesitant and embarassed, a few heads tearing through the tree as the fourth looks at Gaia confused.
“Who are you... why me...?”

 

Gaia winks at the hydra, smiling before continuing to follow Xlentia.

 

“W-wait, who-“ Is the last Gaia reads before she gets too far.

“I’m sure they appreciated that.”

 

"Do you personally know the creatures here?" Gaia asks.

 

The figures are no bigger than his thumb, each paired in duos and holding hands.

 

“Some of the ones that’ve lived a while, yes. Did one of them give you trouble?”

 

Alex smiles, admiring the detail.

"I am curious about the one I gave the most to. They mentioned something about turning your Gaia to stone, I believe." Gaia says.

 

They’re detailed down to the buttoned cuffs on the guys’(?) suits, and the frills on the women’s(?) dresses. His eyes sink more into his puddle as he works, enjoying himself.
