Can You Time Loot Crates From Ranks?

A friend of mine keeps getting decent loot from his crates and thinks he can 'time' the spin of the loot crates (And by loot crates I mean the ones you have to pay for or get daily via rank). So I decided to test this theory, and for a few days I would count how many ticks it gave before the spin stopped. I found that it was completely random, sometimes it would do 5 ticks, sometimes 7, sometimes 10, etc, but after telling him this he continues to deny it and calls it "skill" XD I need some confirmation and straight facts to give him, so please reply the answer to this

Or to put it bluntly the item you get is decided upon opening the crate, the spinning thing is like a WatchMojo thumbnail.

 

I believe loot is pre-determined, the spin doesn't matter. Could be wrong but there's no real method to assuredly get a reward.

 

Yeah, im trying to explain that to him. Hes just being his normal condescending self and told me to come back to him with facts, so I am XD

 

Here is a fact. I time it and get what I want 8/10 times. (File of him telling me "Get destroyed" on discord) :)

 

When he clicks on the chest icon in the crate menu, the system randomly chooses a reward from the crate. Then, it plays the spinning animation, and gives you the reward it selected when you clicked the icon.

Thats why they give u an option to stop the spinner. :P

Thats what they are saying. They are saying it doesnt matter what you stop it on, it always goes on the same thing

Yes I realize a builder said I was wrong BUT STILL I time it every time you guys are just salty u can't have timing skillz/"luck" like I do. :P

And to keep this going builders don't always work with the plugins/commands. Not saying the builder is wrong just saying he MAY be wrong.

 

Same reason Ali-A puts effort into his thumbnails, to bait you in so you think you might have a chance of getting something good, but in the end you either end up with blue bulls or a black market item.

 

Until I hear the dev that worked on the crates say im wrong. I may as well be right. :P

 

They never work with commands for the game, thats a fact.

Also the only skill you have here is luck, there is no timing involved with getting your items.

 

Yes but the point isn't me timing it and getting bad stuff. Its just I time it and get exactly what I want.

 

They arent wrong: Ive timed it myself, there is no set path to the spin, its completely random. I thought showing you the facts via multiple people would show you but your just stubborn, I suppose you will keep going on anyways XD

They can If they wanted to just because there a builder doesn't mean they can't be a dev as well.
