Mage/Dark Wizard Warp.

    Hello c:

    This is my first attempt at making a Warp build, so bear with me.

    Completely unrelated signs that indicate your build might not be great:
    > Blue Mask, Prowess, Gigabyte, double Mythic


    I tried countering the negative Health and Mana Regen, as per @Glenncrafter 's request.
    There should be enough SP left over to reduce the Mana cost of spells by a bit.

    Perhaps a more elegant solution would be to make a Life and Mana Steal build, but I haven't gotten to that yet.

    To be honest, I don't think that trying to counter Warps negative ids is worth it. :/
    You end up with a build that needs two mythics and a lot of good identifications, but is, except for the walkspeed, worse than some Floodbringer builds.

    Sure it gives some extra Health and makes all elemental defences positive, but you'll have less skillpoints to put into Int as a trade-off.
    Fair enough! To me in any case, the main selling point of this Wand is its Walk Speed. Naturally there are stronger (and cheaper) spellspam builds out there, but my goal with this build was to try and make Warp a primary instead of a secondary weapon.

    Countering negatives on warp is easier than it looks (and this is by design), when we the item team rebalanced it for the heal change and the hpr rework patch we purposely made it so that it can be a primary weapon. The goal was if you wanna counter the negatives, you loses damage, if you want damage, you suffer the negatives, so you can take anywhere in between.

    Heres a full counter build I personally use that isnt that costly and dont require boreal as long as you have a low -hpr and low mana warp, if the hpr is worse you can use boreal instead of the capricorn but since wt you would want for the counter build is not hv overwhelming amount of net +hpr but instead hv exactly the same +hpr that cancels the -hpr on the warp, usually it would work fine regardless

    However, having a high -hpr can benefit the damage type warp build, rage warp with 3 t6 earth powder can do 20k meteor with full rage on 10 net positive mana regen. So theres not really a definite solution to warp builds

    I always thought of Warp as a wand that you use with a mana-stealing build (although it is very fast), so you only have to counter the health regen, maybe even with something like Aphotic/Taurus or Lunar Spine as a stealing secondary. But I would agree, with a really good Warp Counter-builds can work well. My main problem is just the cost, In my opinion the walkspeed isn't worth the cost of such a warp, considering that teleport with a little bit of walk speed bonus from normal items already provide enough mobility, especially for PvB.
