You continue North, through the hills. Eventually, you find yourselves in a more circular flat area.

Around the edges of the circle, empty wooden lookout towers stand. Farmland can be found to the north of the circle, and a small church is to the west.

In the center of the circle is a very large windmill. Around the mill is a hexagonal fence, which you are not close enough to see any details of.

Also, around the area are many half-constructed buildings.

 

Ti'Lin:"So.. I guess we're here then. Let's go."

 

“What’re we here to do, again?”

 

Ti'Lin:"We could take a look inside. All I remember that I told you guys is that past this windmill is a path through the mountains."

 

Yevor takes the armor and follows the party.

Yevor: "Maybe we should rest."

 

Ti'Lin:"I'm fine with that, but maybe not too close to that windmill."

 

Yevor: "Where? I don't see an inn or anything."

 

Ti'Lin:"This place looks like it was a village of some sorts. So.. we could stay in some of the towers or maybe even the church I spotted."

 

Yevor: "The church sounds fine."

 

Althiaos walks slowly towards the church and heads inside.

Anything in there?

 

Yevor follows, putting a hand on the hilt of his sword.

 

Ti'Lin follows the group to the church and sits down against a wall.
He sighs.

 

Heat enters and lays across the church floor.

Heat: "I wonder what religion this church practices."

 

Of course you went to the church first. I was still debating what to put in there...

The church is a small stone building. It’s not fancy or anything, it was not built by any professional stonemason or anything.

Inside, the floor is wooden and lit by strange lights. The lites seem to be some sort of buzzing, glowing, magical effect trapped in cages. Each cage is connected by some black strings.

A few wooden chairs are scattered around, but most don’t seem used. They are mostly covered in dust. There’s an altar in the church, with two objects on them. An hourglass, and a pair of shackles.

 

Althiaos walks up to a chair sits down and falls asleep imedietly.

 

Ti'Lin walks up to the altar and looks at the 2 items.
