Blacksmith: "All right then. 2 days, and bring the payment when you return."

"The spell should cause.... one pre-existing spell to become.... permanent on the target, forever. I don't..... know which one was applied to... you, so do you have any.... things you can do that have.... ever struck you as... strange?"

You carefully drop down into the sewers, immediately followed by the one guard who wasn't stupid enough to gape at the weakly-thrown spear. Your wounds are slowly getting more tolerable, and you can actually stand now.
Final Guard: "Stop right there, criminal scum!"

You reach the top of the stairs, instantly getting stabbed in the gut and thrown back down them. The non-cripple (I need to name this guy one day) is standing there.
"Someone should've raised you to know suspicion, kid. Now, my client and I are gonna be real busy, so this is your last chance to turn tail and run."

assuming we're standing in water, I jump out of it trying to cling to sewrs walls, then I use lightning on the water/sweage.
If the guy is still not dead by this point, I toss combustible le- cookie, and detonate it when it hits him.
If we're not in the water/sewage, then I just toss the combustible ̶l̶e̶m̶o̶n̶ cookie at him, and as I previously ̶s̶a̶i̶d̶ typed, I detonate when it hits him.

Watch this be a pitiful attempt since there may be no good people in this inn.

Kae deciding to attempt to use the stab wound against him assumes there might be some good people in the building and yelps in pain pointing at the man. "He......stabbed....me...!" she yells exaggerating a little bit and clutches her wound.

 

Blacksmith: "50 gold, 30 if you don't actually take it. I trust you can pay."

"Harstag..? Isn't that a... You know.... what, I'll just stop questioning.... your life and teach you the... spell. Might be better.... for my frail... health anyway."

The water is in a small stream in the center, with walkways on either side. The explosive cookie knocks him backwards into the water anyway, however, albeit not killing him.

Some barbarian guy with what looks to be some orcish blood is already thundering up the stairs to duel the man, who's now named....

(I rolled d8 for the Leonard and combined that w/ Azura's suggestion, then made Danger his middle name because if that's not pun potential nothing is)

I just keep throwing combustible cookies at him until he dies.
Then I walked as far away as i can from the site of the wrackage while finishing up the book.

 

Kae then says,"Any...healers......in....here?" while watching the fight (if there even is one) intently.

It's about halfway between midday and sunset (late afternoon), and there are sewers to explore, it seems.

He tries to slog his way out, each time getting hurt and blasted back. It's only at the point that his limbs stop working that he begins slowly floating down the human waste.

However, it appears you're still too weak to actually hoist yourself out of the sewer trench.
Doubtful you would even have the strength uninjured.

Yeah they're having quite the fight at the top of stairs.
Your wound is dressed quite hastily, something to stop the bleeding. You should be fine for now, just don't get stabbed again.

Kae murmurs,"Thank you," before continuing to watch what's going on upstairs and to see who is 'winning'.

 

Fun Note: I didn't actually remember replying the last time and was desperately hoping that past me came through. Good job, past me! Don't ever scare me like that again.

It would probably make it so that the charm is on the dragon perpetually, he says, although it's unpredictable.
His style of teaching is... bad. It's really bad. You come out of it knowing the spell, but that might have been the worst magic lesson you've ever had.

Well, for some reason, only this particular street got blasted ooen. You duck into the sewers of a street to the sides, gaining quite a bit of street over your head.
There are some shifty noises coming from further in but they don't seem to be getting closer.

A half-orc barbarian crashes down the stairs and lands right where you were about half a minute ago, seemingly knocked out.

 

Dez:"Unless you know anyone who could tell me what spell is cast on me then that is all." If he doesn't I leave, if he does I wait hear who it is and then leave to the store

 

Kae curses under her breath before unslinging her bow and summoning a dull arrow performing a normal shot (ranged attack) at the man. Then she yells, "Someone check on him!" gesturing at the barbarian.

 

He's still and silent.
You exit the office, winding down the utterly massive hall, and teleporting back into the castle.
From there, it's a quick jaunt across the square, and you've returned to the shop.
The now only mildly mauled man is quite jitteringly waiting on a stool he appears to have gotten from upstairs. The amount of bandaging he has is ridiculous.
"You found something?"

The same person who bandaged you rushes over to the half-orc, but is stopped by the man, who has in the meantime descended the stairs. Your arrow hits him square in the jaw.
"Eh..? So you've still got some fight in you? Let's fix that."
He crushes the half-orc's head under his boot with a sickening crunch.
