Media Favorite Class?

Just wanted to take a poll, what is your favourite class?

I personally prefer Archer, but I'll second Mage especially if I am playing with someone else. Warrior is tanky, but the spells aren't that great and I just don't like an assassin... what about you?

 

I hope you realize that there's been tons of these threads already, and in the end nobody gives a shit. Next time you make a thread check if it has been done before using the search bar.

Sure they've been done before, but things change and some become too buried. There's trash opinions every now and again. This isn't a profile post nor is it a nice find.avi

Either way, you don't have to be rude about it.

 

Especially since the healing changes. In the old "favourite class" threads mage had always by far the most votes, now its only 16,7%.
So I would agree, this thread isn't useless.

 

I wonder why people stop liking mage because of 1.17.5 (or was it .4 ?) update.
I mean, did they only like mage because it is so good?

 

Maybe I'm just bad, but mage feels awful now. Meteors are sort of automatic aim with delayed damage which fast/charging bosses can dodge.

Heal is worthless in a direct comparison to the original, 1000 per pulse is just terrible when a boss or honor guards/snipers can easily hit you for 3-4k damage repeatedly.

Teleport not being usable near blocks or in water/waterfalls is pretty inconvenient, whereas warrior can leap whenever. Still way better than what poor ol' Assassin gets though..

Ice snake is good utility but not the best for damage, which is okay, it just means spamming meteor is the best damage source. But you need that mana even more now for spamming heal since it takes 3 full heals (9 pulses) to get what you had before from one pulse. So if you go thunder mage for damage you have a ton of mana issues if you're the only mage in the group.

Idk. Just my thoughts. I only play mage tho so I'm prob biased

 

Actually mages can finally go through liquids with teleport

 

Only sometimes though, it seems, if you mean on live servers rn. Like waiting 2 mins to swim up the waterfall for the tier 3 chest near entrance to rodoroc, because I can't teleport up the waterfall while swimming up it. But warrior can spam leap looking straight up and get up quick.

 

I've been using the mage for most of my time playing Wynncraft, so I'm pretty attached to it. Though it does feel a bit more clunky post 1.17... and so long as my assassin has a huge ws buff, I'll be happy.

 

assassin has 7 good mythic weapons, plus it was my first class so yea

Judas/Fire Tank Mage used to be awesome bc of heal keeping you alive so you had a ton of leeway to spam meteor + icesnake and constantly run into mobs, which was super exihlirating and fun that no other class could really survive or do; on mage it used to be all about that freedom and spellspam. Now it just feels like I'm playing a worse version of archer with a shittier health potion on an ability that I have to spam to keep alive due to no disengage or self peel that limits my dps by half since heal takes up half your mana now.

Went from favorite to least favorite real quick

I like assassin because cataclysm, well used to like assassin because of cataclysm but now its like I suck at the game and everyone else is better than me and apparently everything is possible for them and I cant do anything at all so I basicly just play in the lower levels on assassin and archer becaise again I cant do anything high leveled because im bad

 

I like mage. In terms of gameplay, it’s easier. In terms of aesthetics, it’s even better. Cause with Mage, you ain’t just stuck with a boring yet similar texture, it varies in shape and size. While Warrior and Assassin do this too, for Mage, Air III textures look more like a spear than a wand, and it varies a lot from the basic stick.

It does somewhat. A very, very little resemblance.

 

eh I can sorta see it, but im pretty sure that gigantic ball would inhibit some strikes

 

A month ago everyone would have said mage because it was broken. Now everyone can agree mage isn't as good! :)
