Ok but a real tip, try strafing. They can't hit you and you can hit them if you're doing it right

Get a Razor gaming mouse and keyboard, a good gaming chair, install a PVP client, get a FPS boost PVP resource pack, set your FOV to quake pro and use "special" clicking method such as jitterclicking and bufferflyclicking, then you will become a PVP god.

Just kidding, I think you have to increase the sensitive because it seems you cannot keep tracking on the players who are strafing quickly.
You have to test different sensitive by yourself to find out which sensitive is the best for you.(Or you feel comfortable with)

Try getting critical hits. You hit the other player when coming down from a jump to achieve them.

    1. FOV, your Fov makes it hard to even tell your sprinting, and is more or less bad for getting a good look at the opponent and your surroundings. It may be hard to get used to a new one, but will pay off in the long run.
    2. Keep moving!!!!1! Once you spot a target, you seem to look at their feet / legs and sorta stick to them in a straight path. By moving erratically, they can't hit you as well, and you should aim for their head / chest area to make moving easier and to get a better look for your surroundings.
    3. Get crits, Jump in time with your hits for double damage, and also block hit by spamming right and left click. this reduces your damage taken from the front in a 1v1, but isn't as good in a mosh pit. Still great if you have a good enough CPS to pull it off.
    4. Get safety first, Golden heads, STR-Chain or Gladiator. These are the best perks if you don't have prestige yet for combat.

    1. Safety first gives you a permenant like 14% damage reduction, which is really nice
    2. Golden heads give you instant 3 heart heal, and 2 over time, making it a really good quick heal for chaining combat.
    3. Str-Chain makes you do more damage, however it requires getting a LOT of kills in a row, so you may not be able to pull this off that great yet, but hey! You'll get there soon!
    4. Gladiator gives you up to a 30% damage reduction in mid, KOTH, supply drops, and other areas, making it really good in certain situations!

    5. Don't practice on the pit, it's a group fight with kill stealing and OP perks, practice on a pvp server :P

Yep, Lenin's dead body is back from the grave just to inflict a curse of horribleness upon you.

Jokes aside, PVP is just one of those things you need to practice on. The Pit or any battle royale setting is not 'real' pvp, you've got everyone trying to kill everyone, unfair buffs and whatnot. If you are looking to improve, May I suggest bedwars on that same server? If you go to mid on most maps and just collect emeralds, chances are you will come up against people going for emeralds as well. Just make sure to go back to upgrade your gear every so often. Only way to gid gud in this is to fight a lot.
