OOC: I had a lot to deal with tonight.

Btw, I assume that player characters aren't powerful enough to use tier 4 shards yet?

I summon a Light Green Shard and hold it at the ready, just in case.

"And you are?"

My door swings open. I'm standing behind it in some edgy anime pose.
"Yes...?"

 

"So what should I do now? I've been waiting for hours you know."

 

I go grab the robe and the crossbow (not the staff) in case trouble arises and go to see what they have to offer for this job.

 

Nah, they aren't powerful enough yet. I'll say when though.

"The name's Zach," he says cooly. He looks like he's only 20. Then he jerks his thumb backward towards Dr. Lakrow. "Was summoned here by her since I was in the area," then he pauses and looks at the situation. "Although, I don't have the right skill set to deal with something like this." Then you here a little buzzing and Zach fishes his phone out of his pocket. He looks at something, appears to be typing a couple messages, then looks behind him a little weary. As if on cue, another person teleports into the scene and whispers something in Dr. Lakrow's ear while surveying the situation. What now?

It appears to be your neighbor. "I can hear all that rickety-rackety on the walls you know! Please stop, I can't sle -" Suddenly, a horrific animal looking figure lunges onto your neighbor sending him to the ground. The creature then gets on top of him, pinning him in place about to strike. What now?

As you are about to leave the apartment, you realize that there was no set place marked to meet up with the leader of Order SIRIUS. Then you see the person who delivered the letter from earlier leaning on the side of a wall. She notices you and walks up to you. "Major prisoner escaped from Order SIRIUS," she says shortly. "Dr. Lakrow just notified me that she'll meet you tomorrow at the Empire State Building." You notice another figure come from out of nowhere and whispers something in the girl presumingly named Jamie's ear. They appear to be another teenage girl. "Well, I've gotta fly. It was nice meeting you Ms. Slikar." But as the other girl is about to teleport them away, a huge lion breaks down the opposite wall and starts charging straight at your little group. The other girl, however, says the words "Gelu Semita!" and the temperature goes from mild to cold and freezing. Ice and snow coat the walls and it snows a little bit. It appears that the three of you can see the lion but the lion cannot see you. What now?

"I mean, you could try to help with the search or maybe eat something you know to replenish your energy," James says. "The cafeteria is down to the left of here. Literally straight left from here when you exit this room," he then grabs out and looks at his phone and says, "I'm wanted at the Security Room. There might be some other adults around to guide you. See ya later." The kid turns around sharply and exits the room. Cafeteria time?

Then you proceed to use Second Sight on Mr. Lopez.

The scenery changes from a security room to the Manhattan Bridge with a burning Bank of America and cloaked figures running out of the bank and onto the street with files. You (Mr. Lopez) look at the scene but decide that informing Dr. Lakrow about Quantum is a little more important at the moment. You (Mr. Lopez) also see Zach and another guy looking at the scene and talking with one another as well as glancing at you (Mr. Lopez). You (Mr. Lopez) then whisper into Dr. Lakrow's ear. Her expression turns from formal to shocked. Then, she proceeds to take a device out and appears to contact someone about something and you can barely make out the name, "Kraet Skilar."

"Mr. Harris!" Mr. Hanzo's voice wakes you up from your vision again. "Do I have to yell out your name every time you do Second Sight?" then he lowers his voice a little bit. "James is outside but look at the group chat."

LittleBirdy: Nemean Lion decides to show up as I and Arya are about to get Ken. Arya disoriented it at the moment.

Stab with the knife in what looks like the most delicate spot, turn on electric blade only when it gets into the wound.

"Well, then. I'll see what I can do about the stragglers. I take it we don't want them to get away with the files?"

If he gives his approval, I'll use the Orange Shard to teleport down the street, appearing in front of and cutting off the fleeing cloaked men.

The electric knife stab works effectively on getting the creature off of your neighbor. However, you also lose hold of your knife and it's now stuck in the monster's body. The creature then lunges at you spewing poisonous fire. What now?

So uh, I just realized that this monster, aka the Chimera is the mother of the Nemean Lion in some stories. Ooh, they also are the mother of the Sphinx . . . cool I guess . . .

"Pretty much . . ." he says. Before he's able to say anything else, you summon an orange shard and teleport in front of the fleeing group. The closest one to you doesn't look too happy, drops the files, and summons an electric, purple glowing spear, and charges at you at an impossible speed.

I cast Gust straight under him to throw him into the air, or at least put him off balance, and then gun him down with Reprisal.

 

Yup cefeteria time

 

That's the point.

 

The waves of wind are effective in knocking the spear user down. You almost manage to hit him with the Reprisal shard but he is protected by another one of his elemental buddies who created a fire shield to burn down the bullets before they hit. Suddenly, a hailstorm of arrows (more like 20 arrows) is shot from behind the two figures and arched straight at your general area.

You make your way to the cafeteria and notice that there are only about five other people in the room with one person working at the front desk. A sign near the front of the cafeteria reads: "New to Order SIRIUS? All you have to do is say what type of food you want and it will be made!" What now?

 

I go up and ask for shrimp

 

"Yeah, it's helpful when you do that. By the way, know who Kraet Skilar is?"

I type out: EyeOfOdin: Can you deal with it?

Then I walk of the room.

"Hey, was it James? Would say nice meeting you but the situation a bit far for a nice meeting."

The if Hanzo didn't know much about Skilar, I ask James about the person.

OOC: DoperThanDopestShardMage? Such a long name. xD Is there going to be a TheDopestOfAllDopeShardMages?

 

"Shrimp, huh?" the guy at the front desk says. "Like, no specific type of shrimp? Just...normal shrimp?"

Mr. Hanzo says to you, "I'm pretty sure they are a mercenary who used to work for some Order. I don't exactly know though. I think I've only seen them once or twice through recorded footage but not in person."

You then turn back to your pad and type:

KENdama: she's basically saying, "shut up so i can concentrate"

Then you exit the security room and greet James. You then ask about Kraet Skilar to him.

"Umm, no clue about who Kraet Skilar is," James responds. Then he comments, "I now understand that username you chose," it seems that he knows of you. "Uh, one thing to mention," James says. "Try not to get on Kayla's bad side . . . she's very emotion based especially on sensitive topics like this . . ."

 

OOC:I've literally never had shrimp so I dont know what kinds there are it was just the first food that popped in my head


I say with a bit of a grin "Why don't you suprise me, that would make it more fun to eat."

 

I shrug.
"Hey you know me, I watch and don't talk. I'll probably get on her bad side without myself noticing it," I say with a grin. "Mind telling me what happened back then while we wait?"

 

The man just looks at you and shrugs. "Alright, although don't blame me if you don't like it." The man moves back from the front desk and retreats into the kitchen. You decide to sit at one of the tables when another man in the cafeteria approaches you.

"I take it that you're new here, aye? I've never seen you around before."

"Back when? Before Quantum was locked up?" James asks.

 

"Yeah, that'll be nice. Tell me like, how you guys captured him or the crazy things that happened before he was captured."
