«rp» Fate's Eye [7/7] ~arc 3~

Two possible exits existed; however one was blocked way by Kavenhaitos, and other towards the direction of the doctor.

The doctor closed his eyes and shrugged with a smile. "That's a shame."

Kavenhaitos narrowed his eyes further, seeming deeply annoyed. A sword appeared next to him and shot straight at the man's heart.

And in the next second, the blade clattered to the ground. The doctor had stepped aside and had chopped the weapon out of the air.

He turned to look at Kavenhaitos, still smiling friendlily. "I may not look like it, but I am a profound martial artist."

Two more swords shot at the doctor; trailing his long grey coat behind him, he jumped up and deflected both of them away with his fists.

"Truly irritating." Kavenhaitos spat, then swung his arm. The weapons all around the room slowly lifted into the air, all pointing at the doctor. "There is no point in the weak to resist." and the weapons all shot forward.

".....is that so?"

A powerful shuddering suddenly shook through Marcus's body; he staggered forward as his entire being felt a terrible aura fill the air. Right after that feeling, the weapons in the air all changed directions either up or down and shot away from the doctor.

".....!" Kavenhaitos stopped in his movements; he seemed to sense the powerful killing intent pouring out from the doctor himself. His long hair covered part of his face; but it was clear the man was grinning.

"...........so you are the one." Kavenhaitos said, glaring up at the doctor's face. The man in return smiled back; the aura emitted by him was gone.

"What might you be talking about, Honoured Sin?"

The blond man smiled warily. "You are a strong one, aren't you? Not quite like the others." He clicked his fingers, and all the weapons slid towards him, forming circles of multiple layers behind his back.

The doctor, indifferent, cracked his knuckles together. "You might as well let me go? The next «Shuffle» should be coming, as you might be aware."

"............humph." The Sin snorted, the sent a last glare at the doctor. "Fine. I'll let you go..... for now." Kavenhaitos turned and clicked his fingers one more time; and this time, the weapons all disappeared into the air.

 

I summon a new one and say to him "I told you not to underestimate me" as I go for a decapitate

 

"This is no longer a problem of moral; the moment I joined this organisation, my 'morals' had gone."

With a dark expression, Elenor stood up, lifting Alice's body together with her. "My job is to 'buy time', not to eliminate. I have no intention of going 'too far' like others like to."

Angela could not move easily; the knife was still close to Alice's neck. But....

"—!"

Alice's eyes suddenly flew open, and the half-elf girl grabbed Elenor's wrist, then pushed the woman's body away.

"Lady Alice!"

"Hnh!" Alice swung her hand, and numerous fireballs appeared around her. They lit up the corridor brightly.

 

Marcus felt like saying something, but saved his breath instead and just watched.

 

"Fine. It is as it is." I say coldly to her
I make a cut in the air, aiming to cut off one of her arms with Fula

 

"Don't kill him. He could be of use."
He hurries over to Carol and Juhel.

I'm terribly, terribly sorry that I've gone completely inactive. This was possibly the worst/most stressful month IRL that I've had in a long time. Also, my alerts for this thread stopped working, which made it extremely hard to remember to respond.

(I can do my action and stuff, but I wanted to make sure you're okay with me coming back to this RP first.)

 

It's fine. It happens, I can't say shit as I went inactive for like a few month without notice, on which occasions I caused a lot of people trouble in my previous RP (including you of course)

You can come back into the RP just fine. But things have to go a bit further before I include you in, is that okay?

Rodriguez opened his eyes in rage. He dodged the scythe by ducking, then rushed forward, gaining speed. Archibaud got ready to meet the attack—

A stone wall hit the man from the side, making him tumble into the other side of the corridor. The attacks that had not damaged the ability user before now managed to topple him. The elf girl was glaring at the man with her eyes full of hate, and continued to slam more chunks of stones into the man.

Groaning, Rodriguez rose from the debris and hit the stone out of the air, breaking it apart.

"YOU————!!!"

Suddenly Archibaud felt the air shift— the mana in the atmosphere that were very slowly recovering were now being sucked back in by the ability user.

The doctor shrugged. "That is helpful, I must thank you."

He looked at Roswaal slumped against the wall. "Unconscious, but not dead. It would cause problems if she were, in fact, dead."

Then he turned and met eyes with Marcus; the doctor smiled, and winked. "I hope you are unhurt, Mr. Marcus. Because of your actions, you've let few hundred civilians escape without harm from the Eight Fingers. Your thoughts on that?"

Kayde limped over as well, the three of them, feeling exhausted, faced the ability user.

Juhel laughed without humor weakly, holding his severed shoulder. "Be of use? You sound just like them. I guess people are same in every country....."

He faltered, and more blood splattered from the wound. Kayde gritted his teeth, then said, "Huma."

There were cracks in the air; ice formed around the man's wound, freezing it. Juhel screamed in pain, and at the same time, Kayde fell forward. Rathius, surprised, supported the boy, who weakly wiped his nose which was bleeding.

"I've.... stopped your bleeding. Tell us.... about the Eight Fingers....."

Panting, Juhel glared up. "I admit.... you all are strong. There are not much who can defeat phantoms I create." He coughed, then smiled. "Well done.... in beating your first phase."

"Fire magic. One of the types of magic I hate the worst, along with Light." Elenor said, then rushed forward. In her hands were knives as she dashed towards Alice. The silver-haired girl clasped her hands together, and numerous lights appeared in the air— lesser spirits— and shot back at her woman. The tiny orbs of lights deflected the knives out of the blue-haired woman's hands, then knocked into her, making her stumble back with a surprised expression.

And then Angela's Fula hit the woman, slashing her across her shoulder. The ability user screamed in pain and fell back.

Alice narrowed her eyes away from the scene sadly.

Sorry, currently its my limit to reply once every night. I used to stay up to like 1 o'clock every day but I started dying because of that....... and I reflected on when to sleep.

 

"Feels pretty good."
Marcus strains out in a huff.
"My side doesn't, though."

 

I wait for him to run at the girl before running at him

I shake my head in disapproval of what happened
"I told you... I told you we could talk this out. I gave you a chance. And look what happened." I crouch near the woman and say that to her
"That being said, I wouldn't like for you to suffer, unless you know a pretty good doctor to treat that wound." I say getting up and opening my hand, palm facing her neck

 

"You seem like a good man, Juhel. We could use you and your ability against our enemies. We could maybe even give you a place to stay, although we should ask that first."

 

Sorry for being gone for so long, what did I miss?

 

Many people lost arms, Greed appeared and the doctor is actually a badass. Not much

 

I assume where in some sort of boss fight?

 

Nah not yet. Marcus was in one of sorts but he wasn't the main one fighting

 

What's the party doing now then?
