Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

He pulls out a chakram with a red inside, and the wood propels towards the sword.

 

“You can do it!”
Sgavrinn whines in complaint.

“Console based?”


“No, I can hide inside any being, shadows included. I just so happen to enjoy pissing him off.”

 

"Just take a rest and I'll be back soon."

He takes a quick look around to remember where he is.

 

Gil nods, typing '1' and causing the game to start.

The console outputs another line of text, reading "You are standing in a lush green forest. You have a sword and a shield, and can go north, west and south. Where do you go? 1 - North 2 - West 3 - South 4 - Use an item."


"It is pretty fun." Abigail says, smiling.

 

He cuts the wood a bit before lunging towards Voidfiller to keep pressure.

Pozel presses 2.


“Just wait until I come out of you one day.”

You’re at an intersection, houses every direction from where you stand - including above and below.

 

Due to the size of the keyboard, Pozel ends up typing in "2we3", though Gil just deletes the extra characters and presses enter.

The console outputs another line of text: "You go west. A rushing river stands before you, there doesn't appear to be a way around. 1 - Go back 2 - Look around 3 - Use an item."


"Oh god, that sounds weirdly sexual and...motherly? Euuughh." Abigail says, looking grossed out.

 

Voidfiller brings down the chakram to bat away Maqo’s sword, then backs up as the wood forms itself around the hilt.

 

Pozel uses some nanobots to make a more precise ‘finger extension’ to only hit 2.


As Abigail opens her mouth, a split clone of Alice comes out.
“Aaand consider it done.” She smirks as her bodies merge together.

He bats away one, the other coming down hard on the chakram.

 

He turns his wrist and slips the chakram out, backing up and preparing.

 

The console outputs more text.

"The river appears to be coming from the north, and flowing to the south. A large old looking tree hangs over it. 1 - Go back 2 - Use an item."


"Jesus christ, I thought it was weird when Aj cloned himself but with your sexual implications of 'going inside me' it's somehow worse. At least Aj only goes inside Artemis." Abigail shivers.

 

He keeps up the assault, swinging one blade down towards Voidfiller’s shoulder and lunging with the other.

Pozel hits 1.


“Well, if saving your life makes someone a pervert, that’s your problem.”

 

The console outputs: "You go back to where your quest began. 1 - Go North 2 - Go West 3 - Go South 4 - Use an item."


"As long as you don't spy on me while I take a shower or a bath or something. I still can't believe that pervert Rineth did that..." Abigail says.

“Be glad he hasn’t stomped on you for falsely smearing his reputation.”

 

He sidesteps the lunge, but catches the swing with the inside of the chakram. He then lets go of the chakram as it starts swirling around the blade forcefully, offsetting the balance of the blade.

 

"You go North."

"Yeah, I haven't finished this part yet." Gil admits.


"He tried to eat me once!" Abigail responds.

 

He pulls the blade back before swinging again, with even more force.

“...Ah.”


“And you participated in killing him once. Even by your standards, it’d only be fair.”

 

Gil restarts the program.


"When did I kill him?" Abigail asks, disbelieving.

 

The chakram follows, continually spinning and forcing the blade to not move quite exactly how Maqo wants it.
Voidfiller makes some space, sifting through his bag more.

 

Pozel presses 3.


“You don’t remember being part of melting his wings and dropping him out of the sky?”

 

"You head south, and find a large canyon with a rickety looking bridge across it. 1 - Go back 2 - Go forward 3 - Use an item."


Abigail thinks for a bit.

"Mmm...no, not ringing any bells," Abigail says, "Besides, I'm not going to go crawl into his stomach as some kind of 'Sorry for maybe killing you once'."
