Guard: "S-sir.. You're un-under arrest for c-crimes against pub-public decency.."
He quasi-menacingly brandishes at you this weird spear with a crescent tip.

Blacksmith: "Where are you staying? I'll send a courier when it's done."

The spike is roughly in the shape of the wound, oh and it's also covered in blood that might lead somewhere.
A few shards of it lead down the road, but they stop quite quickly. However, there's not much of a crowd.

The massively mauled man drinks the potion, using all of his remaining strength.
"It's asleep... do you know any way to seal it before... before the charm wears off? Will it wear off?"

 

I have charm person on tier 2 so it should last up to 1 day not 1 hour

Dez:"What do you mean by seal it?"

 

Kae bends down and carefully picks up one of the broken shards up as a reference. She then follows down the path and continues in the direction that the trail was headed in.

Massively Mauled Man: "Well I don't know! Some way to get rid of it or make it stop, you know, mauling me once the charm runs out?

The shard looks incredibly stereotypical. Sharp edges, almost impossibly smooth faces, the works. Seems magically created in nature, as regular stone usually(?) doesn't form into crystals. Pretty heavy, too.

The trail leads down a small road, with a rather sparse crowd. It leads on for quite a while, slowly twisting and curving more and more until it reaches the western half of the city. You're stumped until you see the armor of what might be the non-crippled man enter what looks to be a magic item shop.

 

Glancing at the magic item shop, Kae puts on her hood on (silver cloak) beforehand. She then slowly enters the building with her head low.

 

Dez:"I have no idea. I haven't really needed someone charmed for this long, but I can go to some magic place and ask about it.

 

The store is small and cramped, only really a counter and a chair in front. The bulk of the items are probably in a back room.

"- so yes, we need something to track someone down. Preferably if it only needs a name or face."
"Don't have one of those, but maybe you should check the academy. They have vaults of the stuff."

His back is still turned to you, but the first voice is definitely the non-crippled man, but his wheelchair-bound companion is nowhere to be found.

Massively Mauled Man: "...Good. The stairs are still intact, and that wall wasn't load-bearing, so I'm going to head upstairs and sleep on the potion. Good luck."

 

I start heading back to the academy

 

The girl decides to stand on the opposite corner of the room of the two people and eavesdrops on them for a little longer.

You exit back and head through through the square, once again entering the large castle that is the academy's headquarters. It seems to be slightly less busy, as some people have gone to get lunch. Some. You are getting a bit hungry...

Shopkeeper: "Well, I do have a compass with a small slot that can track someone if you have a piece of them. Hair, skin, anything works."
Target: "Hrmm... I'll have to go out of my way, but that can work."
Shopkeeper: "35 GC"
The man gets out his coinpurse, handing over the money
Shopkeeper: "My my my, these coins are of dwarven make! I do wonder where you got those.
Target: "I've taken quite a few interesting jobs over the course of my life."
Shopkeeper: "It seems you have. Either way, here's your compass, enjoy your day, and I hope you do find what you're looking for."

The man turns around, almost fully through the door by the time he notices you and panics. He tries to hide it as he rushes out of the building, but the initial eye-contact is enough to tell.

 

I eat some of the potatoes that I have and look for the wisest looking person in here

 

Looks like I fell asleep this time. Actually I didn't, I just forgot to reply.

"Oh? And where were you when my belongings were stolen? Hmmm?"
*Sigh*
"I guess, I went a little overboard with that guy."
I reach into my bag of cookies and set a deleyed bomb on one of them.
"Here. Since I'm probably gonna get locked up for a while, I don't want these cookies to go to waste."
I offer him the cookie.
"I'm not trying to bribe you, by the way. I would use actual money if I was going to do that. Witch I'm not doing..!"

 

If it hasn't already been made obvious by my heightened activity, I'm on break for the week.

Cleverly analyzing the 10 foot sign that says "Headmaster" and is above a short-range teleport platform reveals that the headmaster might be reachable via a short-range teleport platform under a 10 foot sign that says "Headmaster".

The guard, still afraid, takes the cookie anyway.

"Ummm... you're still probably gonna have to come with me, though... please don't kill me.."

 

I for now go around the place a little and ask some people if the headmaster would even talk to me

 

"Uh, what's that? Did you say please kill me? I'm an old man my hearing is going bad you know. Also you better eat that cookie, it's bad thing to waste food you know? Did your mother never thought you that? How can you be respactable enforcer of law if you lack basic manners. Also I did pay real money for those cookies, wasting them would just add a salt to the wound. I mean c'mon, you're arresting me, the least you can do is show me how much you love those cookies. And let me tell you those cookies sure are great!"

 

Kae lets the man rush out with a little head start, then follows swiftly to not lose him.

 

"Don't know. Well, unless there's been a visit.."

"Well, I don't think he has any heroes to give cryptic guidance to today."

"Wait, the headmaster can be busy?"

"We have a headmaster? Oh, so that's what that sign was for!"

Guard: "Uuhh... ok..."

"S-seriously though... you're coming w-with me."

Faster and faster, trying to stay calm and clearly trying to shake you at this point. You doubt that many would have been able to keep up with him this long.
Eventually, however, it seems he's convinced himself that he has shaken you off, and ducks into a small inn just at the edge of what seems to be the magic district of this town. Certantly has the right atmosphere (and vines).

 

Good enough for me I go to the headmaster

 

"Hey you didn't answer my question. Did you say please kill me? Or please don't kill me? Well, I guess since I heard please kill me then I guess I'll do it."
I pause for a moment.
"I'm joking. Ha, hahaha, BWAHAHAHAHA!"
I activate the bomb.
I turn to the crowd.
"So..."
I raise my hand in the air showing my thumb up.
"You never saw any of this. Right?"
I pick up the guards weird spear, put on my hood, dissapearing into the crowd trying to find some dark alley, and there I use color change to dye my robe gray and black. I also read the book of invisibility.

 

I swear im about to get rekt lol

Kae stops to catch her breath really quick. Then, she peaks into the inn to see what it contains before entering.
