Media Please Vote For The Server

I asked three admins about it and back then they said they don't want to add vote reward cause then the votes aren't true

 

Then why did 176 people vote for the server without there being an incentive to do so? There are still voters, but it is mostly relegated to the forums because there aren't rewards, and shouldn't be rewards. The real reward players should feel, is that the server has more notoriety and is recognized for all of the activity and support within the community that it receives. Rather than trying to bend over backwards just to get a few more votes, realize that we are in the Top 500 Servers consistently every month and don't need those reward systems to achieve it.

 

Okay, the tl;dr of my lengthy rant was just to simply say that giving voting rewards will increase your votes, you can't deny that. And I'm sorry if I'm not the most idealistic person, and I'm gonna bring up what I said again. I personally don't think that there is shame in giving rewards for to voters. Wynncraft (and every other server) gives ranks/crates to donors. It's the same principle, just on a smaller scale. Take what you want from it.

I mean of course, this thread is still great, getting the community involved, but that's just my opinion on the topic.

I respectfully disagree; one is a donation that players make and receive cosmetic boosts for. The other is a form of incentive to promote the server. 2 very different things that are not in the same categories.

No, I meant we should work to keep in the top 400 this month. We slowly drop back down to top 500 every month. We seem to have already started off strong though. We should work to keep it like that.
