Unfortunately I took one glance at his channel and I think I may have lost a quarter of my already dwindling braincell count with the amount of spam, clickbait, red arrows.. Then I took a look at the comment sections on his recent videos to try and get an accurate feel of what type of community his channel has. I'm not even going to talk about that.

In all seriousness I think bringing a YouTuber such as PopularMMO's into this community would have serious complications, especially when you take into account the size of his fanbase/the fact that the majority of said fanbase consists pretty much entirely of very young children who most likely don't understand RPG's (A pretty big part of his fanbase came for Roblox etc), and a lot of which I'd be willing to bet don't even understand what an RPG is. Growth wise, it would certainly expand the community (Except the community would become infested with prepubescent children which would be quite obnoxious in my opinion and would ruin the tight-knit friendly/more or less mature community we have here, with some exceptions of course). Money wise, sure it would be great.

Essentially in return for more income for the server, and a large growth in playbase, the community as we know it would destroyed more or less, everything in general would be much more toxic. I've seen this happen with other networks looking to hire very large youtubers with young fanbases. Trust me, it's not pretty.


(Not shitting on anyone who is a fan of this person, watch and enjoy whatever you'd like its not my business, but its not as black and white as it seems hiring a youtuber such as this, and you have to think of the things I've mentioned above.)
