Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

Sel involuntarily drops the ring, looking a little spooked.


There seems to be quite a bit of heavy magic in place to prevent such an action, Ihra feeling quite a bit of telepathic feedback as she loses track of Praecantatia.

I just focus on comforting Artemis, who seems to be rather sad.

 

The ring winds up flying back to Pozel's tail, becoming part of it once again.
"It's like having a whole tool kit in my tail. I can morph it to any blueprint I have... of course, assuming I don't run out of nanobots."


She yawns, giving up.

 

"Oh wow, how did you make that?" Sel asks, curious and surprised.


Ihra feels a heavy arm around her, hitting her shoulder.

"So, you miss me?" Abigail asks cheerily, Katie keeping the rain off of her.

 

"I didn't. I don't know how they make them, but they're really useful. It's linked to my systems, but if you want to see something really cool, some of the full autos are all nanobots that just form a bigger robot."


She coughs, looking behind her.

 

"Whoa!" Sel says, intrigued.


Abigail slides into her vision, smiling.

 

"You ought to visit my home sometime. You might like some of the faux gardens, there are people who take fake flowers way too seriously."


"Yeah. I'm worried again, but I'm glad you're back."

 

"Why don't you have normal gardens?" Sel asks.


Abigail seems happier, a warm glow radiating from her.

"We should probably go inside. I'm getting soaked." I say while hugging Artemis.

 

"We do, but it's hard to get normal flowers to put on light shows for the holidays."


"Works for me." Ihra shrugs, yawning.

 

I look to her, looking her over.

 

She has a few scars, but not much else.
After a moment, she meets your gaze and heads over towards you.
"You the number robot?"

 

Sel thinks for a bit.

"You could grow large flowers." Sel suggests.


"Are you tired?" Katie asks as I lead Artemis to the palace, Abigail following happily.

 

Pozel takes a hologram core from his tail, and it displays a hut built into the side of a mountain with glowing color-changing "flowers" decorating the balcony, curtains, and trimmings on the exterior.

"This is what my family did a few years ago."


"Sorta. I'll perk up in a few, I think."

 

“Thirteen. That’s me.”
I nod.

 

"Rose. Nice to meet you." She says, offering a handshake.

 

I accept it.
“You wanted to talk?”

 

"Yeah. Sort of like the know your enemy thing, but not really. See, I know there are individuals behind weapons in battle. I'm the best mortal pyromancer I know, but there's one thing I can't stand, and that is everything that's forgotten and lost. Friendships, families, hardships, stories... I want to remember."

 

“So, why me specifically?”

 

"You've been laying low, but sticking with Ihra nonetheless. The only thing we have on you is that you helped a cloned assassination bot defect, you're a robot, and you have a weird golem friend who's really fond of attending a battle then going off into la-la-land."

 

“Yeah, Crystal’s pretty nice. He sometimes goes off with Voidfiller, if you know who that is.”

 

"I'm going to guess the split-personality amorphous rainbow?"
