Serious Muslim Hate Crimes In The U.k.

I was just scrolling through the news and saw this:

Apparently some anonymous group sent letters to 5 predominantly Muslim communities about “Punish a Muslim Day” that will supposedly take place on April 3. The letter says points will be scored for acts of violence: 25 points for pulling a woman’s head scarf, 500 points for murdering a Muslim and 1,000 for bombing a mosque. The letter further stated, “They are allowing the white-majority nations of Europe and North America to become overrun by those who would like nothing more than to do us harm and to turn our democracies into sharia-led police states.”

It’s these kinds of things that disgust me the most, going out of your way just to harm someone. Immigration is a complex issue with no easy solution, but this is just senseless. It’s bad enough for a refugee to leave everything behind, let alone get blamed and hated for a nightmare they didn’t cause.

I think this is more relevant as anti-Muslim sentiment grows in Europe such as France’s Marine Le Pen of the National Front and Italy’s emerging alt-right party.

What do you guys think about this? If you live in the U.K., have you heard or seen this b4?

 

I agree. This act is just pure hatred in it's purest form, so pure that it isn't even pure. I'm really annoyed with how people are acting about refugees and immigrants, etc. I've never heard of this, but hearing this makes my heart drop.

Things here in the UK are really weird right now. Everything’s kinda been bought to a standstill, nobody really trusts each other and there’s a lot of hate and bigotry that’s rising mainly because of Brexit (a shit idea in my opinion) and the Internet. While I think that the letter itself was intended to be a joke (like nuke Mecca really dude?) but it’s just representative of extremism on both sides. And if it doesn’t stop we may damn well have a civil war

 

I bet that if they held a referendum again more people would vote against brexit. It's just a bad idea that wasn't thought out enough.

 

Another clue to that end is that they direct inquiries to the HM Courts and Tribunals service. However it's still likely that some idiot is going to take it seriously and actually try to follow its advice, in parts of the internet you can find people who actually genuinely hold these views. As a Brit living in an area with a fairly large Muslim population, this does have me worried.

That's probably a bit extreme. The reason these people have to resort to terrorism is because they don't have enough people or resources to fight an actual war.

Yeah, maybe I exaggerated slightly by saying civil war. It's the issue that for every Muslim hate crime and terrorist attack perpetrated by Muslims, each side grows in confidence. Those who wouldn't normally commit such a heinous crime may do so in the excuse of 'standing up for their race/religion.' Things in the UK are just being crap right now. Hopefully, people can come to their senses and realize that attacking each other is never a good thing.

Not at first, no. But now we've actually invoked article 50 and will be leaving next year unless there is another referendum.

Racial tensions are often more exemplified during mass migrations, so perhaps once the Syrian Civil war ends things will calm down.

not only this, but war is also a big factor. We've been fighting in the Middle East since, like, what, 2002? And since we have a way of demonizing our enemies to the point where rational thought no longer really prevails against paranoia (Japanese Internment Camps), it's really no wonder that we're taking ISIS and Al Qaeda and attempting to force their image onto everyone who looks like them

I live in the UK and recently I had been covering for my sister as a chef due to her having a baby and being on maternity leave. One of the front of house staff was a Muslim and although I am not supposed to know this, knew that they had left their job due to other staff members mistreating them due to being a Muslim. My sisters other half is the head chef and has to know what happens to the staff so told my sister and me as to why this member had quit, the staff who mistreated them had a disciplinary and one of them was fired.

I bring the above up because from what I heard, there were letters telling them to leave this country, wishing harm upon their family and friends and such, not very nice at all.

are you assuming white muslims dont exist?
i mean, 90% of my school is muslim and im pretty sure some muslim girls in my class are more white than snow being hit by the light of summer's sun
this is fucking rood
not to mention... heck, in my city there is like a 50% muslims, 50% christians (also some other minorities on religion but they are non-existant compared to these 2) and we arent pointing guns to each other all the goddamn day
