The Hardest Decision Ever

lets say there was a game


and the game was released on console and steam at the same time. would you buy the steam version or the console version? the console version would be a disc copy and the pc version would be a download-only thing




here are some pros and cons for steam
pros

• u can get mods
• portable if u have laptop
• access to steam stuff
• you can use a keyboard to play if you are stupid like me
• you can use a controller
• piracy

cons

• can't play on an actual big screen unless you use a video cable to connect your pc to your tv
• can't sit on couch and play unless you disconnect your pc, put it next to couch, put a video cable from pc to tv and then plug in a controller to your pc
• performance issues (potentially)
• oof to wirelessness

now here are the pros and cons for console
pros

• u can sit on couch
• good performance
• u can give the disc to a friend who wants to play
• 2 player support
• you can play in the kitchen while cooking because of wireless magic
• urge to hack or get mods is not there which is a good and bad thing
• doesn't count towards your parents mental note of how long you have spent on the computer
• its better for ur eyes if u r far away from the tv

cons

• not portable
• no keyboard support unless you do some wizard stuff to make your xbox recognise keyboard inputs
• no mods or hacks (good and bad)
• can't pirate the game
• if mother and dadder want to watch tv then u r actually stuffed

ok so what would you do
would you buy console version or pc version
and make sure you tell me why
if u dont my mental state will not improve whatsoever

I've only got a pc, so Steam of course. I also don't own any big screens besides my one monitor. Not to mention we don't have good couches in my house.
Also, discs (for the console) can get damaged and lost. Downloads can't.

 

Well, I usually don't buy steam games and I'm kinda a nintendo fan boy sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo probably for my switch :I
