Shall I Wait?

So I quit Wunncraft temporarily due to the lack of things to do late game after Corkus came out. I was wondering if I should wait until Dern comes out to play again or start now.

You should come back. DnD came. A lot of the new quests* are fun, the discoveries are satisfying to find, and JP has made a TON of QoL changes

Unfortunately, not much end game content was added in the recent update. However, the new quests are extremely well thought-out and fun, they’re as good, if not better than Envoy and Mixed Feelings.

Discoveries were added, which is the closest thing to end game content. If you remember back in corkus, discoveries were a prototype, with there only being the altars, libraries, and the necklace hunt as a discovery. Now, almost everything is a discovery. There’s secret discoveries(which are some old discoveries and new ones scattered around Wynn Plains) World discoveries(all notable landmarks around the world) and territory discoveries(All of these are guild territories.) The new secret discoveries around Wynn are super cool, especially a few that I won’t spoil.

Also, afaik all guild bugs have been fixed and guild wars have been improved, so there’s that.

P.s: Do you know when Dern will come out? Like what half of what year? It doesn't need to be too specific xP

 

probably the latter half of 2018 or early 2019

 

The next update is road to dern not dern.

Honestly, I always think its better to start playing before an update actually comes, because that way you are already experienced about the aspect of the game and won't be like "Oh what is this" "I'm stuck, please tp me out"
I'm gonna take it to an extreme so it is obvious :
"Oh, I heard gavel is going to come out, I haven't started wynncraft but that looks cool, i'll play when this come out"
And then it takes quite a while for you to be actually able to get to gavel and experience it, because you first have to go through the province of wynn and experience the gameplay, then go to gavel.

But obviously, you can also wait for dern/road to dern/watever to come out, I guess that's cool too :p

 

It's like watching anime - Gotta wait for all those episodes to pile up before you binge ;)

 

Push for this to happen before we all die, El Presidente!


In regards to the question - just make a new character, go through all the quests, discoveries, lore and such if that is your thing.
