Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"Air, yes. Death, kind of. She's sort of the one deity for the spectral plane. Not everyone who's dead wanders it, though."

 

"It must suck being the god of just air, why doesn't she control all the elements?" Kia asks.

"Does not everyone have a spirit in your world?" Sel asks.

 

"Because there are more gods for that. I can show you holograms of the six gods if you'd like." He offers, taking a core off his tail.

 

"Aren't they weaker gods then? Guardians are better suited for just having one element of power." Kia says.

 

"No, they are high gods. Here, take a look..."
He puts the core on the ground, and a decent sized holographic display appears between the faeries.
"Who do you want to see first? Light, dark, fire, water, earth, or sky?"

 

"Dark?" Kia says.

 

"Dark it is. Stella, give me Xlentia."
The hologram turns into a wireframe of a dragon, soon filling out into smooth skin with some details on the side.

They nod, hauling her off.

You're left alone, hold a curious raptor or two.

 

"That's a god?" Kia asks.

"Why is she a dragon?" Sel asks.

 

I look towards one of them and nod.
“Hey.”

 

"That's just who she is. And yes, that's a goddess. Seeing her when she's angry? Well... that's just a sign the end is near. She can destroy entire realms and all traces of them from every timeline with the flick of a claw. There's tons of stories on how her appearance is the end... but she's not all bad."

One runs off, the other nods, trotting closer.
"How're you metal?"

 

“It’s how I was built.”

 

"Is there a god of time who can prevent the paradoxes that would create?" Kia asks.

 

"No need. She destroys those too... though I think there is a pseudo time god."

"Did they forget your eyes?"

 

“No, not at all. I was never meant to be released, so they didn’t bother with eyes.”

 

"Wouldn't that make more paradoxes?" Sel asks.

 

"Released? You were a pet?"

"Nope. She's just that strong. I mean, beside the fact she can rip a planet apart by digging into it."
Pause.
"Well, who next?"

 

"Fire?" Sel asks.

 

“A project. A product.”
