Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"An Autozakretian, half-cyborg. I won't hurt you, I'm only a civilian." He says, nervous and confused.

 

The air guardian scrambles backward, getting to his feet before taking off, flying as high and far away as he can.

 

Pozel seems confused, continuing on.

 

People seem to treat Pozel with unease, keeping out of his way.

 

He tries approaching someone, nervous.
"E-excuse me, is there something wrong with me here?"

 

He looks patiently.

 

"U-U-Uh, w-well, y-you kind of looked like a z-zombie earlier." The person says, looking about nervously.

 

"Oh, I kinda got knocked out. Those were just emergency systems to get me to my senses as fast as I can without slowing me down."

He keeps digging, eventually starting to appear to sink into the ground.

 

I take it, holding and observing it.

 

It has some sort of red fluid in it, but it doesn't seem to be juice.
It seems she survived being poisoned by accidentally inhaling the cloth.

 

"O-O-Oh, ok." The person says, before hurrying off.

 

"I didn't mean to scare you!" Pozel calls, a bit downtrodden.

 

They don't stop, seeming to want to just get away.

 

"Where are you going?"
He looks inside the hole.

 

Pozel sighs, continuing on.

He shrugs, still digging.

 

"Did someone die?"

 

Pozel eventually bumps into a couple of faeries, dazing one of them.

"Oh, s-sorry sir!" One of the faeries says.

"Watch where you're going!" The dazed faerie snaps as she regains her focus.

"Kia..." The first faerie says, before giving Pozel an apologetic look.

 

He shakes his head.

"I-I'm sorry... U-uh... can I make it up to you?" He asks, nervous as he habitually reaches for his mask, catching himself before he grabs it.

 

"One moment." The second faerie says, flying closer to the first.

"Sel, this could be our chance at riches!" The second faerie says quietly.

"I don't know Kia, it seems kind of wrong. Why can't we just go scavenging like we usually do?" The first faerie, presumably Sel, says.

"Remember when that killer robot tried to murder us both at the colosseum? You know scavenging isn't safe anymore! What if we get caught by someone who wants to eat us?" The second faerie, most likely Kia, asks.

"This guy didn't do anything to us though! We shouldn't turn to exploiting others out of their money!" Sel says.

 

"Um... not to intrude on your conversation, but I don't have any money." Pozel says. "Besides, I only have civilian tech. Nothing fancy."
